We went for lunch and found there was a $10 lunch special. We ordered 3 dishes, all which came out very quickly and tasted really good! I made a couple of changes because of my food allergies and they asked lots of questions and were happy to oblige; much nicer than other places in Albany. I would definitely recommend this... More

This place is both a restaurant and a take-away. The restaurant is somewhat dark and unfriendly but the food was OK. If you're a few sit around the round table and order several dishes and just share.

Have been frequenting this gem for more years than I can remember, and it still does not fail to impress. They have finally, improved the interior decor at the front which makes it more appealing when entering, but as I have written in a previous review, ignore the decor, its the food that makes this place great. Again, we were... More

We dropped by this Chinese restaurant/takeaway on our last night staying in Albany. The takeaway entrance is a very narrow corridor with seating down one wall maybe a whole metre wide facing their fridges. They have a standard Chinese menu. We ordered fairly standard dishes - spring rolls, fried rice, honey chicken and beef and vegetables. The food was OK,... More

Called in for a quick takeaway recently, not knowing anything about this restaurant. I was greeted by a lady with a huge smile and warm, friendly welcome. The order was for my old favourite, beef and black bean. The fact that I was informed it would be 10-15 minutes to prepare was welcomed; obviously not pre-cooked snd warmed quickly. It... More

There are no pretences about the Three Plenties décor. It is more reminiscent of an eating house that a restaurant. However unlike some I have been to the price reflects the décor. Regardless you go there to eat and not admire the wall hangings. Over all the food is very very tasty and the menu is the best priced I... More

This used to be our local Chinese restaurant to go too, but no more. When they shut recently we had the opportunity to try Shanghai Moon. We will NEVER return to Three Plentiies after our experience. The food is drab, tasteless and lacks passion, and the decor is absolutely horrible, having never been updated in my lifetime, I'm sure! And... More

Ordered 7 dishes. Paid and waited 15 mins so that was all right. Got back to our chalet to find one dish missing and two others incorrect. The food was bland and stodgy. Never again.

Value for money and has the breath of the wok flavour wise. When you see a lot of Chinese eating in a restaurant including Albany's king of cuisine Maurice Fong, you know its going to be good and it was. Hard to choose a favourite dish but Singapore mei fun is huge on flavour. Sang choi bow is great as... More
