Saw the sign on a corner as I returned to my motel the night before and decided to give it a try tonight as I love Indian food and as it was cold, I craved a hot meal. Checked the reviews on Trip Advisor and with such good reviews, left confidently. I was not at all disappointed. The restaurant is... More

Lovely Indian food, great service and I was given plates, cutlery and napkins to take to my room. The restaurant was very full the night I ordered my take-away curry.

The food was OK and I may have gone to 4 stars on that alone but the service was patchy (at best) and the setting (motel interior) detracted from the overall ambience. Would look elsewhere if I was in Albany again.

My first visit to an Indian restraunt and not a big fan of hot food... but the food was excellent. The menu is well laid out with symbols to indicate mild, medium and hot. A good choice of dishes. the restraunt is licenced however you are allowed to take your own wine. The spirits were a little on the expensive... More

Staff found us a table on a busy night, without any reservation. We were served quickly by friendly staff. Given pappadums and three different dips while we waited, which wasn't very long even though the restaurant was so busy. Lamb dhal was interesting and flavoursome, mushroom rice yummy. Palak paneer wasn't best we've had, but I usually make my own,... More

We are from Melbourne, Vic and have experienced one of the finest chef's curries. He is Baby Thomas and at one period owned 3 Indian restaurants. He produced the best Lamb Bhuna Gosht - consistently. My wife and I followed him to all his new restaurants for our 'curry fix' frequently taking our closest friends. So, this is the benchmark.... More

I have eaten Indian food before but I have been blown away by the great food here. It is very delicious and well worth a visit. I have had my meal as take away both times so I can't comment on what the dining area is like but the take away service is very easy and convenient

We were staying at the Amity Motel, and decided to eat at their in-house restaurant after reading the many excellent reviews. Upon arrival we were seated and water and pappadums with 3 dipping sauces was placed on our table immediately. The waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food.We were told by hotel reception that we could get a... More
