Staff found us a table on a busy night, without any reservation. We were served quickly by friendly staff. Given pappadums and three different dips while we waited, which wasn't very long even though the restaurant was so busy. Lamb dhal was interesting and flavoursome, mushroom rice yummy. Palak paneer wasn't best we've had, but I usually make my own,... More

We are from Melbourne, Vic and have experienced one of the finest chef's curries. He is Baby Thomas and at one period owned 3 Indian restaurants. He produced the best Lamb Bhuna Gosht - consistently. My wife and I followed him to all his new restaurants for our 'curry fix' frequently taking our closest friends. So, this is the benchmark.... More

I have eaten Indian food before but I have been blown away by the great food here. It is very delicious and well worth a visit. I have had my meal as take away both times so I can't comment on what the dining area is like but the take away service is very easy and convenient

We were staying at the Amity Motel, and decided to eat at their in-house restaurant after reading the many excellent reviews. Upon arrival we were seated and water and pappadums with 3 dipping sauces was placed on our table immediately. The waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food.We were told by hotel reception that we could get a... More

Very authentic and tasty. Recommend the naan breads especially the Kashmiri. The korma and butter chicken was good. Bad careful hot means hot.

Excellent price, staff were fantastic, the food is totally delicious and when they say mild they actually mean it!:) I ate there twice on my stay and will most definently be going back again.

On first glance this place looks unlikely to be a great Indian restaurant - but that is exactly what it is. The extensive menu has old favourites as well as a few new dishes to tempt. The service was attentive, and there was plenty of choice for my gluten- free friend (in fact all bar two mains were gluten-free). This... More

Tucked away in a motel is not really where you would expect to find an authentic Indian restaurant! We eat here regularly and have take aways. Excellent friendly service and good food.We have never been disappointed and the Tandoori Lamb Cutlets are magic. Look out for the Curry Leaf when you visit Albany,it is a good place to eat!
