There were very limited choices for dining on a sunday in Albany, which was disappointing! However we were greeted warmly and enjoyed great service and wonderful meals, my husband had the duck and I had the lamb which was very tasty, especially the smoked potatoes! We returned a few days later with friends and again the food was as good... More
Terrible extremely bad overpriced food. Minimum Main Course Price: 46 dollars. I had some kind of seafood risotto that was totally flavourless. Only place I ever been in my life where single drinks are 15 cc and double 30 cc.
we have been to this restaurant several times with mixed results. Friday night was very disappointing. The waitress was new but did an ok job. but the food was another thing again. I started with the ribs entree which was barely ok but defiantly not worth the expensive price tag. My wife's main was very average. She had the Sous-vide... More
We were here as a group of 6, consisting of 2 couples and 2 single seniors. We were seated promptly, but found the atmosphere to be loud and the setting "non-intimate". Our waitress, although polite, did NOT know "her stuff", and seemed to be not interested in finding the answers to our inquiries. Drink service was good. My appetizer (called... More
Having asked a local where to eat nice, we were recommended Lime 303. We booked for Dinner on a Monday Night and were greeted warmly on arrival. Albany being at the Sea, I was looking for a bit more Seafood offerings. Decided on a Seafood Tasting Plate for Entree, I asked if I could exchange the cooked Oysters for natural... More
Was a bit apprehensive to go there after reading a few bad reviews, but decided to give it a go. So glad I did. Great and attentive service and good variety on the menu. I had the baked figs to start, the fish of the day (the forbidden rice was awesome) as main, and the creme brulee to finish. All... More
We had a delicious meal at Lime 303. Entrees included seafood tasting plate, which even though oysters were a bit small, was well presented and delicious; and a tasting plate. Mains included confit and breast of duck and mixed grill both cooked to medium rare and well presented. Overall a very good meal.
Lime 303 restaurant in Albany must rate as the most expensive restaurant with poor service and average food. For 4 people we paid $425.00!! The staff could do with a training course in customer service. We arrived early at 6pm and where half way through our pre dinner drinks and they we trying to rush us to our booked table.... More
We had Boxing night dinner booked and have to say the restaurant: ambience and food delivered to our expectations. Service was attentive and food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb dish with quinoa and it was coocked to perfection. My partner had the mixed grill and enjoyed it very much. The polenta chips are a must try! We are... More
