Funny thing, but the only few times we've been here is because we had a group of 8 and the next door cafe Dukes (where we really wanted to go) had an hour-long waiting period. The other two tables taken at Borsch,Vodka & Tears seemed to be people who suffered the same fate as us. The food here is Ok,... More

Delicious Polish food. A small place with a good ambiance, and huge variety of vodka's. The vodka was the highlight!

There are way too many restaurants in this culturally diverse gastronomic city to not eat in a new place and explore a new culture every single day for at least several years...! So this evening it was off to Poland-Down-Under for Borsch, Vodka & Tears. The place was packed; however, we saw an open two-seater table, and decided to see... More

Suggested by a friend of mine, my adult daughter and I learned a lot about the dozens maybe hundreds,of vodkas they had through a few taster selections, then satisfied our desire to sample Polish Cuisine with a batch of their delicious entrees- Cabbage rolls, Hungarian Lamb Rogout and Cevapcici with some salady stuff and shave beetroot. It was all so... More

We groovy ageing chicks went for lunch. The cocktail and vodka selection was daunting so we went with wine. Then we shared Zakuski, a platter of 'antipasto' done the Polish way, and calamari. The serves were generous, delicious and served on gorgeous hand painted crockery. And, service with a smile. Recommend.

We arrived at all different times slowly filling a large table. Everyone loved their meals. Pickles are an exciting side note. Service was friendly and fast. I asked for a milkshake for my 3 yr old but they don't do them. Waiter came back with a glass of milk with honey, cinnamon and ice. My little man loved it.

Best place I have eaten out at in awhile. OYSTERS were amazing. Prawns. Pork. Loved every thing about this place. Cocktails also really great.

As a Polish friend said. "yum, perfect home cooking," and that is a very high compliment from someone who knows their food. We shared a platter & then selected various dishes from various dumplings to crumbed pork & zucchini flowers. No-one was disappointed. The food and wine selection is fairly limit, but I could easily have ordered quite a few... More

We'll I have had better service and I had had better food. But what I found even more frustrating was the lay back poor service with attitude. Although clearly I was not alone in my opinion as the place was only a third full and all the other cafés around are busting at the seams with customers. Maybe you need... More

Went here on Sunday night and, as always, the food was amazing! I had the potato pierogi and russian borsch, and my friend had the polish sausages. Our meals were both amazing. The only cocktail I was drinking was 'The land of ladies' which was so amazing i put it up there with one of the nicest cocktails i have... More
