Bright and lively with good food and loads of vodka.

Vodka lovers paradise. The choice was vast, in fact most of the menu was given over to the selection of dozens of different vodkas. I don't drink it so my preference was a great cider. The food was wonderful and not expensive. The only downside was the volume of sound - rather deafening making... read more

Borsch Vodka and Tears is a perfect balance of wonderful ambience and enjoyable food, topped with a selection of vodkas which must surely be unsurpassed anywhere in Australia. Polish food predominantly, anyone looking for a generous feed, and plenty of different flavours, subtle or bold, in a vibrant atmosphere will not be disappointed. My wife, who is a Polish beauty... Probably a tad biased on the food front married to a polish man and having frequented Kraków on numerous occasions but whilst enjoyable not quite up to scratch Vodka on the other hand awesome such variety shame the staff don't have polish experiences to guide and share though

If you want bad service and bad food - this is the place to go. On first glance, the atmosphere is really nice and the drinks list very long. The vodka was great and so was the drinks. The piroggis are too overpriced for what it is. The food was a real disappointment as everything was heated up in the... More

Popped in for a cocktail with friends and was very impressed with both the drinks and service. Amazing drinks menu of cocktails, vodkas and wines. Great atmosphere. We all ordered the Something Wicked This Way Comes cocktail which was amazing. Will definitely return next time I am in Melbourne as there are so many more cocktails I must try !!

We were expecting so much from Borsch, Vodka & Tears especially with all the positive reviews we've read. On a positive note they had an extensive vodka list... so I don't know if they rely on getting people plastered before eating, but the food and service was shocking especially for a mid-week meal (not busy). Food was well below par... More

The visit to the legendary Borsch Vodka and Tears was impulsive on a wet Saturdays night. The night got off to a great start with the trip taking half the anticipated time. We had decided to eat early and had a table from 6.30 to 8. When we entered the Restaurant we were immediately enveloped by an eclectic atmosphere rich... More

With only two days in Melbourne to catch up with family and friends, this place did not disappoint. Food was Devine and the list of vodka was never ending. Accommodating staff and service in this popular restaurant for seekers of authentic Polish cuisine.
