My friend and I visited for a late lunch on a cold and wet Saturday in July. We found the restaurant much busier than on my previous weekday visits. From our table near the counter we watched the cocktail 'maestro' at work preparing concoctions of various colours with one or two shots of vodka as the main ingredient. His skill... More

Quirky little spot on the poor (better) end of Chapel. Great for lunch, they have a ridiculous selection of vodkas and the food is to die for. I go here whenever I can and always bring out of town friends. Their Hungarian lamb stew is the best.

We went here with a group of friends last night. Firstly everything is overpriced. The seats are too low causing 3 people to knock over their drinks. One of the people in our group was vegetarian. They took a bite from a pierogi and said it tasted like meat. They called the waiter over who was extremely rude and unapologetic,... More

Although we didn't feel the food was really authentic Polish food or perhaps from a different region we have not visited as yet, but having been to Poland three times in as many years and the fact that my husband is Polish, and we cook our own version of his favourites at home with everyone involved in the process, we... Another one of my favourite places in Melbourne. I first discovered this place when I was first learnign Russian and our Russian club had a night out. Firstly a booking if you want to be guartunteed a table straight up. Seating is very limited maybe max of 30-40 people including a few stools at the bar. There are tables situated... More

Really enjoyed our meal. Food was excellent especially the anti pasto plate. Meal sizes were generous as was the vodka list ... But not the serving sizes or prices. As tempting as it is to work your way through the list, at $7+ for basically a thimble sized shot, it's an expensive proposition. But food prices were very reasonable for... More

There are a hundred more vodka mixes on the menu than food but the food is worth the visit at dinner time. They have good Polish beer if you aren't into vodka. Seemingly authentic Polish food was well received by our family of three adults and two children. Quirky decor suits the small restaurant. Wonderful name that enticed us in,... More

Came here with a few friends after work and enjoyed great service with a smile, very tasty food, a nice vibe, and a very elaborate vodka menu. Food wasn't cheap, but I guess it is on Chapel St.... but it was really good food and the entire experience was worthwhile. Would definitely recommend.

We had a brunch here and enjoyed ourselves. The choice of food was very innovative and we all had a different dish and loved it. We were lucky to get an outside table as it was a sunny day. I loved the atmosphere of chapel street.
