Succulent chicken & Amazing Service

Have been twice now and had the chicken, along with various starters. Have to say the value for money and quality of food is excellent. Additionally, the staff are all very accomidation. It is a BYO so bringing a bottle of wine or a few for the table is very helpful to keep the cost down. Highly... read more

We used a voucher for her (Cudo/Groupon typer thing) and we had the banquet. We opted for the Vegetarian banquet option, as I dont eat meat, much to my partners initial disappointment, but I have to say, we both very much enjoyed it.! The pumpkin curry was a favorite for both of us, all the food that came out tasted... More

Food was just OK, would question its authenticity when compared to other Nepalanese restaraunts. Upon entering the restaraunt we didn't get that Indian Curry smell sensation nor did we taste it in the food. Not a patch on "Chiraag Nepalanese Restaraunt " in Croydon. Worth the drive to Croydon for the experience. Had to try " Gurkha" but unfortunately it... More

The quintessential factors that a diner looks for in a restaurant are good food, good company, and to a certain extent, good service. I have never in my life come across a restaurant whose management gave such horrible service that it left a rotten taste in our mouths before we even had our food. This experience spoilt the mood of... More

We did our first restaurant walk-out of our lives at this appalling joint. We had a gift voucher for banquets worth $220. We were served by the manager (third person from the right in their cover facebook photo). He said we could choose any banquet on the last page of the menu using the voucher. We ordered four banquets and... More

Visited this restaurant with my partner tonight. An oasis in the business of Chapel St. We enjoyed potato filled roti and mixed momos for entree and chicken Marsala for main course. The service was excellent and the price reasonable. All food was delicious and authentic. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to this particular place. Both times we bought vouchers on Our Deal for $29. We really liked their food first time and after that we did not hesitate to buy another voucher four months later. First time we chose to sit on the floor. It was interesting experience - not very comfortable though. I had... More

We've dined here a number of times and have always been reasonably happy with the service and food - until now! Booked for a Saturday lunch using a voucher - menu was supposed to consist of an entrée, 'all-you-can-eat' mains including a goat dish, chicken and a choice of 2 desserts. What we found was an almost empty restaurant, a... More

We had a Cudo voucher, supposedly worth AUD 110. The experience we had didn't even cost 10 bucks if you ask me. I wasn't welcomed well to start with. I asked this lady about my reservation, she responds- for how many people? If anyone had cared about allocating bookings, she should have known it was for 2. Then she places... More

The last two times we have visited Melbourne we have eaten at Gurkhas and have enjoyed both experiences . The flavours are rich but bit overly spicy ( unless requested) and the service is always good. Highly recommend
