Well, if you thought that all of the pubs in Toorak were glitzy affairs for the rich and famous then you would be wrong. Okay, maybe it is not Toorak, but it is close enough for me to consider it to be a Toorak pub (according to Google Maps it is actually in Prahran). Anyway, this pub is basically your... More

Have used this premises twice in 2 months now, due to work commitments in the area. Food is fantastic, well priced, and they have daily specials you must use. Staff very friendly, and will actually remember your name. Staff also quite knowledgeable regarding local wines as well. Deserts to die for.

Dropped in to this suburban hotel on a Friday night, having grabbed the last booking. Two of us had the veal schnitzel, which was beautifully cooked, hot, crisp breadcrumbs and not as thin as an envelope! A good thick piece of veal. My other friend had the braised lamb which was also excellent. The wine list is small but caters... More

I was reluctant to back to Mt Erica after very disappointing service a year ago when they were very busy and understaffed. The place was nearly empty this visit, and unfortunately the service was not much better. Staff only came to the table to deliver or clear plates, and you have to jump on them before they rush off to... More

As the staff ran round aimlessly patrons waited patiently alongside empty tables to be seated... Once eventually seated the waiters ignored us for the next half hour... We got up to help ourselves to menus and water... After following up our drinks twice they came with our food of with for a steak special was ok but not worth the... More

Went to the Mt Erica last night for a friend's birthday and for the second time in a row the meal and service were appalling - so much so we didn't pay for it. What is happening at the Mt Erica - it use to be so good? The staff almost made us feel that it was our fault that... More

Staff seemed unsure and disorganised . Some meals looked nice and some were very disappointing. Place that was usually packed on a tues night was empty . We won't be back I'm afraid . Really disappointed .

Great pub on High Street up from Chapel street. A once traditional local watering hole offers a reasonable array of dishes at reasonable prices. The owners have made some effort with the decor. Can be crowded so a booking on a Saturday night could be in order.
