Stopped to have a quick bite around 2pm but not many places serving- this cafe was open. Walked in with family and no greeting. Had to ask staff member if she was serving as she gave no indication with her back turned. Felt we were inconveniencing her. Very cold reception. No customer service experience. Had to ask for a receipt... More

Fish was horribly oily and the batter soggy, as if they'd fried it in old oil at way too low a temperature. Server repeatedly talked past us as we ordered to yell at the group behind us. Avoid.

Ideal place for a quick bite. Cheap and not bad. View is good as it is just in front of the bay and you can enjoy yourself watching tourists walking by or playing with the seagulls.

Chips were great, kids liked the nuggets, but the seafood stick was pretty average. We ate twice and both times the orders were wrong, not worth going back to complain, but annoying, I am not sure why it is so hard to get an order right!

Hamburgers are good but a bit tasteless, fish was greasy and not fresh as you would expect from a sea side town, enjoyed feeding the chips to the seagulls! Staff were young and looked like it was a chore for them to serve you!

First off all I am pretty sure they are city owners. The fish was yuck and the chips were burnt. We bought four lots $4 chips. They decided to just save themselves chips and dump ours all in one. Considering we are by nature big eaters the $16 chips looked like $8 chips RIPPED OFF. They are geared up for... More

This place is obviously geared for overseas tourists who don't know that $10 for a plain old chicken burger is too much! There were multiple coaches turning up when we were there and in they went as unsuspecting victims. However in saying that we were ourselves unsuspecting as we thought $10 for a chicken burger must have included chips and... More

We stopped for a quick bite on the way to the Twelve Apostles. In view of previous reviews decided on just chips and a banana milk shake The chips were excellent, fresh, hot and crisp The shake was artificially insipid

This shop will probably continue to draw customers due to its good location next to the beach. However, the food and service leaves much to be desired. They tagged my order (and the subsequent customers) to the wrong order number and refused to double check when I attempted to tell them that there was an error and instead scowled at... More
