Ate here on a Monday night food was good especially the homecooked chips. Only problem being that those sitting at the next table ate at half price simply because they were from the local area. Food doesn't taste quite as good when u feel you're being ripped off

Large portions of fish, lots of chips and everything freshly cooked and very tasty. Great value for money and beautiful view while you wait.

2 pieces crumbed Cod and chips $19.90 and worth every minute of the 10 minute wait. Staff were friendly and happy to be there. Owner treated new younger server with respect and kindness when she obviously was getting a bit flustered with the sheer volume of people in front her. Will definitely be back :-D

Sandbar is situated across the road from the beach. Not your fine dining type of place, but is great for quick meals, coffee etc in a nice open air atmosphere.I find the food is always of good quality.service and staff likewise.I generally pop in when i am in the area, which is often price is ok as well

Had takeaway fish and chips for lunch from the kiosk. Asked for crumbed cod but what we ended up with was something between crumbed and battered and it was very oily. The chips were average and the tartae sauce they charge for was awful. It's a shame considering they have such a great beach across the road where you can... More

We tried this place for breakfast. Worst breakfast in 8 months in Australia, and we breakfast out at least once a week. Greasy bacon, overcooked eggs. Eggs over easy instead of requested sunny side up. Very disappointing. Overpriced for what we received.

Sat at a table overlooking the water and the top end of Bribie Island. The three of us had something to eat and drink. Mixture of seafood and a hamburger. Beers and soft drink. Food came quickly. Everything was well presented, nice and hot and the drinks were cold. Even though it has been a couple of years since we... More

Went to Sandbar with our son on Sunday to celebrate his holiday, then on Monday to enjoy 50% off locals night - excellent value. Then to the degustation/food safari on Thursday evening - memorable experience and absolutely recommend this, then Friday for lunch with friends. All brilliant, thank you Sandbar - we are never disappointed and always have great food... More
