We ordered some takeaway last night and were told that it would take 15 - 20 minutes for our order to be ready. Half an hour later, they were still cooking. My chicken burrito was soggy and awful, but worse - my rice was completely off. I didn't notice at first, as I'd smothered it in sour cream. I was... More

We come to La Casita every year when we are visiting Caloundra. We have always found the service excellent & the food is a real family favourite with us. They also make great mocktails & margaritas. I would recommend booking over busy times. Love the enchilada stack & the taquitos......mmmmmm!

Once again, another amazing meal at La Casita. The food is so tasty. Our party of four all had different meals and we all absolutely loved them. The service is so fast and the staff are extremely friendly. The Strawberry Daquiri is a must and the Sticky Date is to die for. Thanks guys for yet another fabulous meal!

Had hoped to be writing a highly rated review after our first visit a month back. Sadly, tonight was a different story. Several empty tables but on entering and motioning towards a table for two against the wall, were told "sorry we're too busy to clear them and wipe them down", and instead shown to an unset table for 6-8... food was good, walnut pastry entree very very nice. Chicken dish was a little dry and chicken tostada bowl quite nice. I'd eat there again if only for the drinks... Much better than any sugary concoction at other Mexican restaurants! Impressed with the service as well.

We ate here after hearing mixed reviews about the cuisine. Wanting to give it a chance because we love Mexican food we booked a table for our family of 3. We were greeted at the door by a lovely waiter and shown two tables we could choose from, always good for my hubby who is fussy about where he sits!... More

We decided to go for something different on our most recent trip to Caloundra and try Mexican. Knowing that Mexican food isnt the easiest to 'impress' with, we decided to give La Casita a go. Looks were certainly deceiving with this little restaurant in the main street. We were the only patrons, on a rainy night with building works going... More

Restaurant boasts that they have the best Mexican food on the Sunshine Coast. We dined on a Friday night for my husband's birthday. Place was packed when we arrived at 7.00pm and then empty by 8.00pm. Waitress said everyone leaves early to watch the football so if you're planning to go here, book early. The service was good. Staff were... More
