Delicious food, only add a smile to your service

We haven't had fish and chips as good as this in ages! The Whiting was so fresh and batter lovely and light. Highly recommend the food, shame the lady behind the counter was a bit sullen.

We liked the friendly service, the generous portion of both fish and chips. No haute cuisine but it filled a rumbling tummy just fine and was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if you fancy that fish and chip moment!!

This small eat-in or take-away fish and chip shop, sells top quality fish of various types with well cooked chips, served without the grease and oil change often associated with this type of meal. As a local the only downside is that word is travelling fast and there is sometimes quite a wait for meals despite the efficient service. Take... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at tea gardens for one night we decided to get fish and chips for dinner and sit on the lake. It was the best fish and chips we have had for a long time so fresh and good value for money. We have been home a week now and still talk about it wishing it... More

Caught the ferry across from Nelson Bay to meet up with friends for lunch in Tea Gardens. All 8 of us were impressed with the good feed. Each pack had more than we ordered - my snapper was delicious. Shop was clean and comfortable for us all to sit and eat. Staff very friendly. Would visit again/recommend.

Very nice food... Courteous staff? Would pop in again if I was passing through. Very fresh and nicely cooked. Went down well after a long drive.

Wonderful fish & chips, but a bit pricey. They grill; not everything's deep fried. Sit along the river walk to eat. Picture perfect!
