We booked a table for 8 for a birthday celebration. The table provided was for 6 with two additional chairs crammed in. The whole evening consisted of plate and glass movement to accommodate additional plates and glasses. We used the floor to hold the champagne and wine bottles that would not fit on the table. As for the food, the... More

Wow this was a surprise. At first, the restaurant looks very inconspicuous from outside and dated inside but wait until you let the old framed pictures on the wallpapered walls and glass chandelier sink in and you will feel as if you are in a real Hungarian restaurant somewhere in the Budapest city centre! We chose the Langos with crème... More

Local favourite that we keep going back to for the best chicken and veal schnitzels. They melt like cotton candy in your mouth. Easy parking out front, friendly service and value for money. Worth the trip if out of you way to get to. Kids playground 50 m away as well as bottle shop.

With winter coming on the desire for "comfort food" (you know. food that makes you fat) grows. Think excellent matzo ball soup, vast array of schnitzels, goulash, stuffed mushrooms, creamed spinach, stuffed crepes & chestnut puree. Keep that thought & factor in $10 entrees, $25 mains, $9 desserts & a limited but inexpensive wine list. What's not to like? Kitsch-y... More

My favourite restaurant and go there quite regularly and have been for years. Friendly owner and staff. Food is excellent. I can't seem to try anything except the Duck $28 and $2 extra for the cherry sauce as it is fantastic. My friends and family have had other dishes which have all been great. Entrees and desserts are also good... More

OK, I am a bit surprised by some of the comments saying the meals were expensive - this is not the case in my experience - $80.00 for bottle of wine, 2 meals + Langosh is fantastic value - especially when it was truly beautiful. My partner is Hungarian, so naturally we are a little biased, but this was so... More

My daughter arrived early to a barage of questions about our booking. She is 15 and was not offered somewhere to sit while she waited for us. The booking confirmation for 6 had not been received. We arrived from interstate for a double brithday celebration and were begrudgingly given a table. After being seated menus were thrust onto us prior... More

Corner 75 Restaurant serves great food from a menu that is both varied and 'interesting'. Unlike other reviewers, I will not speak of the authenticity of Hungarian food, having only spent a few days in Hungary, I can speak about the food as it relates to a western palate.... and it was good. As my late father would say ....... More
