Arriving late into Lismore we were pleased to see the Mandarin Restaurant still open and close to our motel. Our waitress was cheery and helpful. The menu had plenty of vegetarian options much to our delight. Service was quick and the food excellent and fresh. We would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Have dined several times in-house but usually order take away from the Mandarin. Good food at reasonable prices. Very much a traditional Aussie Chinese Restaurant.

My two kids and I went there midweek for dinner. The service was quite slow, the dish sizes way too small and the prices too high. After the meal even the waitress who served us had to double check the price as she thought it was high for what we had. We won't be coming back.

Thank you for being one of the few resturants open over the NYE Tropiccal Fruits weekend. You were run off your feet with the swelling numbers due to being one of the few places open on New Years Day and I hope that your returns were good. We know that you were racing around but we still recieved a gret... More

The annual carnival was in town but the establishment wasn't prepared for the influx. The food was good but took a long time to come. Drinks had to be reordered. They tried to charge us for someone else's food and the reordered drinks. At payment the fellow was good. Understood the problems and removed the extras.

It is difficult to say a particular restaurant has one of the best meals you have ever had in a restaurant. While Mandarin Palace is very acceptable, it is not Flower Drum for example. Having said that, I only ordered takeaway and was pleased with the results. Service was friendly and relatively fast considering how busy it was - probably... More

We booked for a table on a Monday night - glad we did! It was very busy. The food was great, the service friendly, and when there was an issue with my partner's dinner, the staff dealt with it professionally and quietly.

Just had dinner there and I am still hungry! The portion size was a rip off, cost me enough $$ I just wanted a nice meal not to be left feeling like I have been scamed.

I was in Lismore for work and was craving rice. Mandarin Palace was only 1 of a couple of Asian restaurants open 7 days a week for dinner service. Was helpful since not much was open on a Sunday night in Lismore. I didn't dine in, so my whole experience was take away. I called over the phone to place... More

We ordered take away last night. Service was quick. The quality of ingredients was quite good, but we didn't find it very tasty. We ordered BBQ Pork Buns as entree (I had a bite, but gave the rest to hubby. Tasted under-cooked to me). Mongolian Beef - not at all flavoursome - and Honey Prawns, which were very stodgy, as...
