Dined 7pm last evening (on a Tuesday) & were the only diners for most of the evening, though we walked through a rather merry gathering in the adjacent lounge. Restaurant still has its elegant décor. Naturally, we had a window table with the inspiring valley view, and excellent service. We ordered mains without extra sides. Servings were about right, so... More

My partner and I stayed a few nights at the Mountain Heritage Hotel and had the pleasure to dine in their in-house fine dining Jamison Views Restaurant. We enjoyed a daily hot buffet breakfast and we also spoilt ourselves with a delicious three course dinner. Couldn't find fault. The décor was beautiful old world charm with friendly and attentive staff.... More

Please be aware this hotel is not open Sunday or Mondays. The resturant is closed on these days along with a lot of the restaurants in town

What a great venue. Not only are the views of the valley to die for the food and service was impeccable. After diner we moved to the lounge area and were entertained late into the night by a piano player.

The restaurant was almost empty. The soup was cold. The ravioli are not home made (taste like they have been at the store for a while). The lamb was cold. Overall, very poor quality. Good service though.

We have lived in the Mountains for 32 years and had not visited the Mountain Heritage. My parents had their honeymoon there 70 years ago this year, as it was our 35th Wedding Anniversary, we thought we would give it a go. The views are excellent, even being a little hazy due to the hot weather, Kings Tableland at sunset... More

Good place to have a nice meal with comparable views to match. One of the better places to dine out in Katoomba if you are looking for somewhere special. Service is attentive with a nice touch of a pianist playing music in the background.

My wife & I live locally and decided to have lunch for our wedding anniversary here. We looked up the website and saw a great choice of dishes. On being seated we were given a menu for lunch which only had PUB GRUB at exorbitant prices, since we were their we decided to have a Bruschetta/Hamburger each. We could do... More

Went for a friends birthday and two of us had the only vegetarian option billed as "rosti" which turned out to be two tablespoons of herbed mash accompanied by one tablespoon of greasy unrecognisable veg. The meat meals had huge servings of veg. We told the waiter we were still starving and needed the biggest dessert possible....it was "crumble" about... More

We decided to eat at Jamison's View Restaurant as we were staying at the hotel. We were not disappointed. Our main courses were beautifully cooked and very flavorsome. There is obviously a talented chef in the kitchen. The desert was quite wonderful and one of the best I have tasted in a long time. The views from the restaurant were... More
