Try the pumpkin soup!

We came in for lunch and there were only two other couples dining in at the time. The waitress came straight over to take our order and we had barely opened the menus. We asked for some more time and when she came back the second time we asked for the soup, at which point she hurried away without... read more

Meal was good, but they could not get the coffee order right. Asked for large latte in mug - received small in glass. Coffees took a long time to come out. We were offered replacement but did not accept. We were even asked if we wanted water and said yes but this never arrived. Very poor customer service.

My partner and I stumbled upon this place for lunch today, and absolutely loved it! I had the Twisted Prawns and my partner had the Smoked Chicken Risotto... Both of which were fantastic. Very friendly staff who genuinely looked like they enjoyed their job. Definitely recommend this one!

One of the many good cafes along Katoomba St( the main drag) , this cafe serves excellent coffee and tasty and well priced breakfast meals. Also open for lunch and dinner and licenced, we only went there for breakfast and were very satisfied with quality of food and service.

This place was somewhat shambolic but in a thoroughly enjoyable way, the staff were pleasant and good humoured and one got the impression that they knew they were out of control but were enjoying it none the less. The food was very good cafe fare and I would eat there for lunch or breakfast but probably not dinner given the... More

This is a decent cafe in the town of the Blue Mountains, Katoomba. We enjoyed our food although it was nothing to write home about. A decent meal at a decent price, with friendly staff. So why the five stars. Because the Hatter's Cafe is part of the Hattery - which is quite simply the best hat shop I have... More

Katoomba Street is full of bustling cafe's and fabulous food, so I was surprised to be drinking burnt coffee and not eating my meal when I went out for lunch. The risotto was mushroom flavoured, there were 3 pieces of mushroom in the whole dish. The worst part was that they obviously didn't use aborio rice because the rice felt... More

They have standard and slightly more gourmet food on the menu. We like the very large portraits of people wearing hats decorating their ways. The risotto I ordered had great presentation but a bit bland.

We had an over priced poor tasting, small portioned brunch here. Service was terrible, tables left littered with dirty plates. Awful.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick late lunch. We had the pumpkin, butternut squash and macadamia nut soup. It was fantastic.
