True definition of a well run cafe ... Excellent Coffee.. Best in the mountains It can be a daily destination and yet it feels fresh crisp and new. A page out of English / French Art Deco cafés of 70s ... Perfect

Good coffee, funky vibe, friendly service, reading material. What's not to love. thanks for all the "What's on" info in the window too. I often consult it as I walk past just to make sure I don't miss anything.

I can never appreciate why people who works in the service industry do not understand hospitality. The good coffee and breakfast will not guarantee my return.

Had to get out of a Katoomba cold wet day and this little shop had good coffee and latte ginger tea. The selection of old books/ magazines can keep one occupied or do your internet surfing. Some might like the laid back 'hippy' atmosphere and music. Situated at 159 Katoomba St.

I used to go here all the time, but then it went down hill in terms of the clientele. There are always middle aged men smoking outside who engage you in strange conversations if you sit down. Coffee is good though!

We chose this cafe as we had limited choice on a Monday morning. The coffee was good. The fruit toast was good. I was unimpressed with the kitchen and serving staff who had long unkempt hair not tied back as you would expect when working with food. When the table next to us found a bug swimming in their food-... More

Honestly, I'm not a heavy coffee drinker, but I have friends who ONLY have their coffee there! I've been there a few times and liked very much the atmosphere: small, simple, cosy, books, magazines, daily paper and toys for the little ones. Plus, the good coffee, nice muffins and smiling staff.

This is the first place I stopped after getting off the train and it definitely set the tone for my short but lovely time in Katoomba. It has a really nice laid back community vibe. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating, as I tried to maneuver through the tables with my suitcase. They have a nice... More

Friends and I visited for coffee one afternoon after reading a recommendation in our accommodation's welcome pack. There's no accounting for local knowledge - really good coffee and excellent home made food. The abstract art on the walls amplifies the relaxed atmosphere and independent coffee shop feel. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I really recommend the... More
