Had dinner here last week and didn't get to enjoy the visual aspects of the location in the dark. Entrée of so called Tempura prawns with bean/pea sprout salad. Batter was thick gluggy and greasy while the salad was tough, stringy and poorly dressed - almost uneatable. Partner had the duck liver pate which was really awful - very slimy... More

Had both dinner and breakfast at Echoes. The dinner was excellent, carefully served with welcome gaps between courses. There was a good choice of dishes, all nicely plated and a pleasure to eat. Breakfast was also excellent, with hot dishes made to order and a wide choice. Continental buffet added to this, with breads, cereals, cold items and fruit. By... More

The great view and ambience of this restaurant is let down by poor service resulting in a disappointing meal at a high price (mains $40, deserts $26). Waiter service was basic especially as we had to clear our own entree plates when they had placed our main meal around them. The waiter didn't appear to understand etiquette of clearing plates... The restaurant has the atmosphere you would like in a high end blue mountains restaurant. The staff were efficient and the food was beautiful. There are many tables which has great views over the valley.

Lovely restaurant with great food and beautiful views. If its cold you will not want to sit on the verandah so pick a day when you can sit outside

Echoes is easy to recommend and a must do treat, particularly for couples. Atmosphere was lovely, staff very good, food selection excellent and the food was delectable. And costs for what this place offers is very reasonable. Very happy to recommend this one and looking to go back as soon as we can. Good job. Great night.

Staff very attentive, food beautiful and lovely setting. Found on request to not do tbirthday cakes but assured "Happy Birthday" would be put on the dessert plate. This did not happen and so very disappointed, reassessing our review. Within 15 minutes of returning to our room at the nearby Lilianfels, a staff member appeared at the door with a plate... More

We went for lunch on a Saturday (it was my birthday) and had a great time. It's nearly worth it just for the view. Absolutely spectacular. It is pricey but the food was very good. I had steak and it was well cooked and delicious. Service was friendly. We didn't stay for dessert as they were extremely expensive.
