this place has the wow factor from moment you walk in and take in the view. Cant help but utter the words!! Food and service is a lovely adjunct to the experience. Staff very attentive, food beautiful and lovely setting. Found on request to not do tbirthday cakes but assured "Happy Birthday" would be put on the dessert plate. This did not happen and so very disappointed, reassessing our review. Within 15 minutes of returning to our room at the nearby Lilianfels, a staff member appeared at the door with a plate... More

We went for lunch on a Saturday (it was my birthday) and had a great time. It's nearly worth it just for the view. Absolutely spectacular. It is pricey but the food was very good. I had steak and it was well cooked and delicious. Service was friendly. We didn't stay for dessert as they were extremely expensive.

Had the opportunity to visit this restaurant twice in May. The decor is quite nice and refined. in both opportunities the food was excellent, except the duck with Asian influence. The piece of duck was not juicy and sat on a bed of egg noodles and a broth. Tasty? Yes, but not for the price we paid. What I do... More

It started by seating us right in front of the very hot (fake) fire. They moved us to the table outside their storeroom which had a cold draft and they kept accessing which meant my husband (on crutches) had to keep moving for them. There were plenty of other tables we could have been seated, but they told us they... More

We had dinner at Echoes Restaurant as part of a 50th birthday celebration for my husband. We were staying at Echoes Boutique Hotel and Restaurant for the weekend so it was a no brainer to have dinner at the restaurant. And boy, were were happy we did. All we had to do was walk up a staircase to the second... More

My wife and I went to the restaurant whilst staying at the nearby Lilianfels as their Darley's Restaurant was closed for the evening. Whilst the venue, food and service were all enjoyable and of good quality I felt the dining experience at $115 per person (without drinks) was overpriced. That said we had a memorable evening in a very pleasant... More

Purchased a Gift voucher for my daughter and her husband for dinner. Buying the gift voucher was extremely difficult, and not a pleasant experience. Then today i found out they had not charged my credit card and were doing then. They informed me about this by email after they had charged my card. When my daughter booked they were contacted... We were staying at Lilianfels and opted to eat at the restaurant in its sister hotel, Echoes, on our last night. It is renowned not only for its excellent food but also for the wonderful views and sunsets over the Jamison Valley. We had the lot. It had poured with rain for around four hours before we went to the... More

The atmosphere is confused. Great bar and fireplace area. Fabulous piano player. The restaurant is a mix of old world and cafe style area. The service was ok the waiters were very pleasant but had to ask for water twice, had to ask for drink menu, had to ask for glass wine. The food was good but not memorable. Reactive... More
