Good food, lovely property.

We stayed at Lilianfels and ate dinner here one evening (the properties are adjacent and part of the same group). Nice meal; attentive staff and very good options for celiac diners. The adjacent bar often has a pianist in the evenings and this was an unexpected bonus; very talented lady with broad... read more

We were staying at Lilianfels and opted to eat at the restaurant in its sister hotel, Echoes, on our last night. It is renowned not only for its excellent food but also for the wonderful views and sunsets over the Jamison Valley. We had the lot. It had poured with rain for around four hours before we went to the... More

The atmosphere is confused. Great bar and fireplace area. Fabulous piano player. The restaurant is a mix of old world and cafe style area. The service was ok the waiters were very pleasant but had to ask for water twice, had to ask for drink menu, had to ask for glass wine. The food was good but not memorable. Reactive... More

Stopped in without a booking on a Monday for lunch. It wasn't crowded so getting a table was easy, although if it had been later in the week, I would definitely book. I prefer this restaurant for lunch rather than dinner as the view during the day is utterly enchanting. The food is very good too. The parmesan/herb bread was... More

We recently stayed at Lillianfells and decided we would dine at Echoes for dinner as it was located nearby. The staff were very accommodating especially Leo and the decor very cosy. We chose the ($95) 2 course selection from the menu with an entre and main. The food was beautifully cooked and stylishly presented, much as I had expected from... More

Food & service good. The thing that makes it special is the views. We went here for my husband's birthday so didn't mind spending that little bit extra for dinner. Would go again.

The menu is reasonably small with the pricing based on 2 or 3 courses. Situated at the top of Katoomba this place offered a great dining experience. Service was slightly lacking in terms of not informing us the soup of the day or placing the serviette but very friendly and accommdating. Food was brilliant and would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone.
