We visited Cooma for five days and had big, generous delicious country style breakfasts at the Tourist Café every morning. Great bacon, eggs, breakfast rolls, eggs Benedict, tea, coffee and toast. Good service too. We'll be back!

The tourist cafe just exhibited a new level a rude service. For starters I was growled at for looking at the takeaway menu when ordering in , then when asking if the burger for daughter had no mayonnaise as she doesn't like was rudely told it only has tomato sauce and when I asked for chips told it came with... Our recent experience of the Tourist Cafe was A OK, better than expected; there we were on a dark, rainy evening in a little Snowy Mts. town: Firstly, it was well-lit, well-located and OPEN; the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful; our meal of whiting, mash and steamed veg. from the "Small Eaters" section of the menu came in... The food was fresh and delicious. Didn't have to wait long for our meals to come out. Staff were friendly and courteous. Will definitely be eating here again

We have stopped here for dinners regularly on the way to the snow, ordered both take away and eaten in. The children enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service of the waiter. A great selection on the blackboard. We ordered steak sandwiches and fish and chips. The food was fresh and presented beautifully to us. The cafe seemed to have... More

This is our regular breakfast stopover on the way to snow and it has always been great. New management are great and have freshened up the cafe since taking over. New toilets have been installed, the old arrangement was a bit average. Menu is fairly extensive for a more traditional country cafe. I can't understand what others are complaining about... More

I have eaten here multiple times and when I walked in tonight I noted the sign 'under new management'. I think I just received the WORST SERVICE of my life. The waitress got my mothers order wrong and then argued with her about it, then yelled YOU DID ORDER THAT. what a joke. We walked out and went to the... More
