Excellent place for breakfast. Quinoa porridge with banana and cinnamon was something I'd not heard of before and it was great. Made with soya milk on request too. Lovely fresh fruit and veg juices. Coffee was delicious (small cups though) and the cooked options were also very tasty. Service was great, friendly and quick. Cost about AUS$50 for 2 juices,... More

Decent breakfasts & lunches served up here and depending on the day and barista, a very good coffee is made too. Yes, they have had problems in the past with 'attitude' from some staff however since the new owners took over recently that problem has been attended to. The cafe needs a facelift no doubt however if they continue to... More

Like most places in Coogee it was terribly hip. Coffee was good as was my gluten free breakfast, which I really enjoyed: gluten free bread with strawberries and peanuts. Quite a different option and one that's to be commended! Far more interesting and tasty than the usual gluten free fare. I had a stroller and that got a bit awkward... More

Once I had finally managed to attract a waitress’s attention (hiding in the doorway with menus but didn’t seem brave enough to venture to new customers arriving at the pavement tables), my coffee and food were delivered in good time and were both excellent. Service itself was lacking and had to request water as did a couple at a neighbouring... More

I went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, I had been running up and down Coogee Bay Road for the previous week, and wanted to see what was offer in one of the many cafes which line the Coogee end of the road. I tried Coogee Cafe as it was busy but not too busy. The food here is... More

Extremely good cafe in the heart of coogee! I come here at least once a week for the great service, great food, and great coffee.. Atmosphere and the outdoor seating is also a big bonus! Absolutely love it. Try it you wont regret it!

Very happy service (NOT!). It was like the waitress was doing us a favour - just a miserable looking face, no cheery smile at all. Food was reasonable, but for the price of added charge (because it was Sunday, I believe that the prices were overcharged. Will not go back, surely there are better cafes than Café Coogee. Happy not... More

It is great when you find consistently good food with pleasant staff. Simple really. I was here 12 months ago and loved it. This time I had English visitors with me. Good Aussie fare and a paddle in the water at the beach after lunch.
