When you feel like good Chinese food nothing else would do and after a three hour walk to Bondi Beach and back I was starving. As a Canadian, traveling in Australia, sometimes you don't have access to WiFi and therefore a connection to a myriad of fellow Interneter's take on local food. I definitely recommend searching online review's before venturing... More

I have been going to eastern sea for over 20 years and it never fails to deliver. The San chow bow, the special fried rice the combination soup the Mongolian beef. Yes for sure there are the old favourites but they still taste good

I have been coming here for over 40 years now and I have never walked out unsatisfied , my favourite is the large homemade spring rolls and their crispy skin chicken.

We had delicious hot and sour soup, crispy skin lemon chicken (exquisite) and beef in black bean sauce ( lovely slices of top quality beef) and tea. There was no charge for corkage and the service was excellent. The restaurant was also producing a high volume of takeaway with the cars double parked outside.

I've dined here a number of times over the years, most recently in early December 2013. I've mostly always had the same basic dish, I'm not sure of the English name but it consists of egg noodles with wanton and char siu. I find the dish to be suitable here as it isn't too oily. The dish set comes with... More

Loved the food which was reasonably priced. Staff happy to assist, got the impression nothing would be too much trouble for them.

There is nothing fancy here but the food is really good Chinese. The restaurant décor is quite basic but the service is fine and the prices are very reasonable.

Grew up with this restaurant. Loved the food as a kid and still do now. Best fried rice in Sydney! Love the combination long and short soup

Eat here alot and never disappointed. Love the salt and pepper calamari. BYO no corkage. Been here in Coogee for years and have a loyal following. I think its the best local Chinese around and is very reasonably priced.

The food is very average, service good but we demand more these days from asian cuisine. We only went because chili box in Coogee was full. Note to readers go to Chili Box you might need to queue a but it iis worth it, - this place is Chinese food from the 80's.. Enough said....
