One of the best laksa

Heard a lot about the laksa at this place that we walked almost 35 minutes to get there was worth it. The laksa is really good especially when you add the generous help yourself chilli paste on the counter. We had the skinless chicken as well as the king prawn. Both were delicious although the king... read more

Went there for lunch whilst in Sydney for work. Place was full but easy to find a spot as it was just me. Laksa was brought out promptly, I will visit it again though. Love this Malay/Singapore food,

I never knew what Laksa was let alone to have ever tried it... Until my work colleague asked me to go to this family owned business. Wow oh Wow. I started trying Laksa elsewhere but they just could not compare. I recommend the Beef Laksa. Make sure you add the Red Chilli after they give you your meal. If you... More

Initially Skeptical but admittedly, one of the BEST Laksa I have ever had. Impeccable service, 12/10, attentive and I hope that they don't loose that.

The best Malaysian you'll ever have. But Tuesday, Friday and Saturday lunch is Mar Mee special. Unbelievably good. Yes it is ugly, crowded, hot and you have to fight for a seat during peak, but somehow that is part of the experience. I hope they don't upgrade. Also the boss makes his own chilli paste to top the Laksa and... More

After skipping lunch and after a busy day of sightseeing, I went for an early dinner at 5 pm at the Malay Chinese Takeaway. I ordered the seafood laksa (AU$12.50) and the Hainan chicken and rice (AU$9.70) for a total cost of AU$22.20. Since there were not many customers in the restaurant at this time of day, I decided to... More

I know that they do have other Chinese and Malaya dishes but other than the spring rolls that were ordinary I only have the Laksa on the several occasions I have been to this restaurant. Frequented by many Asian diners the décor is very basic but the Laksa is tasty and great. Laksa ranges from about $9.70 for chicken/vegetable to... More

Lunch and ordered Laksa and found it tasteless and oily; indeed probably one of the worse I have ordered. Vegetable dumplings were delicious and the service was very efficient. However it is over priced.

The laksa here is excellent. Like many authentic Asian eateries the restaurant is nothing to look at. Plastic chairs etc. You would not patronize this place if you ate plastic chairs but you would not give it a miss for its excellent laksa.

I had the skinless chicken laksa and cha kuey teow. Having spent 5 years in Kuala Lumpur, I've had a great many of those dish. While this place serves good laksa and kuey teow, it's taste does not deviate from the standard path. Rather, it's just very safe in its taste. Serviceable, but not great. (my wife commented that it... More
