Go early to avoid crowd

This is a very popular restaurant so go earlier to avoid crowd as the restaurant doesn't take reservation (take a number). The Xiao long bao and fried rice are the two "must have" dishes for my family. To eat the xiao long bao, pick it up with the chopsticks and hold it in your spoon. Prick a hole... read more

Loved the dumplings and the service was fast. Would rather that you could book a table rather than queue for a number & then wait for your number to be called. We had to wait about 40minutes all up but it was Easter Saturday so I guess that's not too bad! The place is very popular. We arrived about 11:45.... More

Came out cold so indenting back. The chef put it straight back into the fryer and served it to me again. Tasted like cardboard. Other than that the dumplings are amazing. Number 1 for me.

Get in early as this place fills up quick, the dumplings are excellent and service is quick. You can watch your dumplings being made as the walls that line the kitchen are glass windows. Fantastic food look forward to my next visit

This is an absolute family favourite. If you can put up with the queue it is worth the wait. The soup filled dumplings (xiao long bao) are as good as any you will get in Shanghai China. The pan fried pork dumplings also contain that delicious broth and a delicious variation. All dishes are presented beautifully and are tasty to... More

It has been quite a while since coming here. Frankly the service was lacklustre, and the food quality not as good as previously e.g. the dumplings were thick/doughy and undercooked. Not sure we will be hurrying back.

This place is one of the yummiest places to eat in Chatswood. Located in Chatswood Chase, there is a line to adhere to by calling your number to be seated. The place can get busy and it's because the food is really tasty. A must to try is the Combination Fried Rice and the soy Pork Belly cooked over night.... More

I love Shanghai Xiao long bao and this is one of the restaurant I come for. Half pan fried dumpling is also one of the best dish. Service can be improved as it usually hard to get wait persons' attention for service and bill. One negative view is that this place is so popular that we always have to put... More

Ordered their chicken and Sweetcorn soup today as I have a terrible cold. Was ready when I got there (had ordered 5 mins earlier) took it home and it was still nice and hot. Soup was delicious and the pieces of chicken were so tasty. Made me feel much better! Highly recommend.
