An old favourite

Expect poor service, long queues. But the food is (mostly) quite nice. They've recently increased their prices though. For dinner, go early, or else. Number 203 on the menu is our favourite. The rainbow beef is also nice. Good after a long afternoon of shopping. The chairs are uncomfortable though.

Went to the Lemon Grove restaurant for an 11:45am catch up with a couple of friends. We ordered 3 dishes off the Dim Sim menu which were very fresh. I would like to test the menu some more. We had pork dumplings with the broth inside which was really interesting. We also had pork in a boat shaped noodle with... More

There are 2 in Chatswood. One at Lemon Grove and the other at Chatswood Chase. The dumplings are really good - pan fried and steamed. However, the rest of the dishes are somehow too saltish and a douse too heavy on MSG to my liking. Service, forget about it especially when they are really busy during peak meal periods. Go... More

Great value tasty dumplings. Often Big queues at Chatswood Chase, quicker at lemon grove. Loved the crispy beef.

Pork dumplings were as nice as Din Tai Fung and the spring rolls were also very hot and tasty. However our main courses were not particularly good or good value. We ordered a pork dish with noodles. The dish came with thick oily coolish noodles with very little pork and very little flavour. It was supposed to be a hot... More

We dined here for lunch and found it all very under whelming... The service was quite unorganised and the food came out at different times with us having to chase a couple of dishes to be brought out.. We won't be back..

My family and I dine at this place on a busy Friday night. After waiting for half an hour, we only realised they have forgotten our order after observing patrons who arrived later than us being served. Then, all the staple (dumplings and noodles) arrived but not the main dish (stir fried eel). No self-worth properly run restaurant would make... More

This is a very popular restaurant so go earlier to avoid crowd as the restaurant doesn't take reservation (take a number). The Xiao long bao and fried rice are the two "must have" dishes for my family. To eat the xiao long bao, pick it up with the chopsticks and hold it in your spoon. Prick a hole and suck... More

Loved the dumplings and the service was fast. Would rather that you could book a table rather than queue for a number & then wait for your number to be called. We had to wait about 40minutes all up but it was Easter Saturday so I guess that's not too bad! The place is very popular. We arrived about 11:45.... More

Came out cold so indenting back. The chef put it straight back into the fryer and served it to me again. Tasted like cardboard. Other than that the dumplings are amazing. Number 1 for me.
