A small space having a big impact. Awesome food - creative and flavoursome. Funky vibe, and friendly service. Just what Chatswood needed

This place is quick, effective and awesome. We had a soft shell crab and some noodle dishes. The food was tasty and well presented. The service was spot on. They had an old coupon in the Sydney Entertainment Book 2013. Well worth the money.

For a very reasonably priced lunch with excellent Asian food, the unpretentious Rice Den Brasserie is well worth a try. Good range of selections with black board specials and a small but reasonably priced wine list. Quick service is also a feature. Booking is recommended given the small size of this eatery.

I tried The Rice Den yesterday for the first time 'cos I've always seen lots of people there. The food is a mix of all Asian countries: Thai, Japanese, Korean, ... but the dishes we've tried were all delicious! I had kimchi prawn rice with pork belly, a little bit spicy but nice, my hubby had curry with pork belly... More

Tom ya rice and the teriyaki chicken and rice. Cosy and modern yet traditional atmosphere with really hard working staff. We visited on a busy Saturday night to be asked to wait around for a few minutes. No more than 7 minutes later we were welcomed in to a clean table into this dimly lit, small restaurant. The size of... More

Food is good and consistent. I only come here for the $10 lunch menu though because there are better thai/vietnamese places in Chatswood. Thumbs up for red duck curry

The weather was appalling but my girlfriends and I were determined to not postpone our long planned dinner and braved the cold to get here. It's that sort of gem that if you blink, you'll miss it in the busy corner of Archer St. I love the grungy brick-walled interior, there is a little corner to sit outside and they... More

Rice Den is young and cheerful. Dishes are products of creativity and experiment in an unique little place. Seats may be become uncomfy for a longer stay. Chopsticks come in bi-colour deliberately. A small menu that tell you they have a small kitchen that serves fewer tables but in fresh ingredients, aided by daily BlackBoard variables, enticed by attractive prices.... More

Very welcoming place, even thou it is small. Fairly price menu at night with a decent serving. The lunch menu is a great size and awesome value. I would say Asian fusion. Met the owner Roy who is very nice and chef Nelson Cheng too. Would go again. They need delivery for the locals of Chatswood.
