A little expensive but nice

We had lunch here, it was a little expensive but the town is a little isolated. The food was good and great seervice.

I don't want to put people off, as this should be viewed as an experience to realise just how far we have evolved in terms of food in Australia in the past 3 decades. This is the benchmark on what it used to be, and no doubt this is appealing to some. Take the salad on the plate with salmon... More

After a long drive we needed an easy take-away meal. Very quiet in Queenstown at 5:00 pm on a Sunday and JJs appeared to be the only cafe open. The lady serving was very welcoming. We ordered lamb souvlaki with a yoghurt sauce. It was just OK and filled the gap. Rather scant on the salad filling.

My partner and I have been in Tasmania for two weeks and we're looking for a coffee to have on the road. Stumbled across this cafe and we both agree that this is the best coffee we have had in Tasmania thus far. Not only was the lady very friendly she knew what she was doing by the coffee machine.... We were driving through Queenstown and decided to stop and take a break. Where better to get a cup of coffee than "JJ's Coffee Lounge". Or so you would think. I entered and had to wait for a woman to come up to the counter to help me. I asked what kind of coffee they used (Australians pride themselves on... More
