Excellent food and drinks. We especially enjoyed the calamari salad, the lamb pizza, and the Prosecco. The restaurant faces the Airlie Beach Lagoon where our kids swam while our order was being prepared. Friendly service.

Need I say more.... Dessert burger... That's probably the only reason why I would go there... The food is a fair bit over prices and you don't really get a lot to eat for what you pay

We recently dined here for my partners birthday for dinner. The meals themselves were very good, pizza was top notch and fairly cost friendly for the area. The biggest disappointment was the service, as upon arrival we were constantly pressed for our orders. We were thrice asked if we were ready to order within 5 minutes of arriving, before we... More

Great food, simple decoration, lovely outlook, happy service. Would return on next visit and hope it wasn't a one-off. PS It wasn't.

This is obviously a favourite with the locals, and for the rest of us when we can get in - we suggest you book for evenings. This is really good food in a casual and often noisy environment. Tapas dishes are good size and value, and the pizzas are as good as anywhere. And Bones is the other place in... More

This unpretentious little place was recommended to me by my daughter after she and a large group of friend had been there and been very happy with their night. Great staff, good food, lovely location. They did a gluten free version of their mouth numbing squid for me and my partner was happy with the pumpkin arancini. If you let... More

Absolutely delicious spicy prawn pizza with red peppers, prawn, capsicum and rucola. Nice setting with great outdoor setting and good service. Friendly staff but mostly exceptional food! One of my Airlie favourites! (And I've tried quite a few!)

We discovered Mr Bones on recommendation from some locals when we asked where they prefer to go, And we kept going back! Just off the strip, it's quiet with views over the lagoon and ocean beyond, but doesn't feel like a tourist-trap. This VIC family-run business has all the characteristics of the best Italian places in Melbourne - great pizza,... More

The Pizzas were to die for... the staff fantasic and a great causal atmosphere. We will definately going back to try the Tapas. We like to listen to the locals and see where they enjoy when we travel and everyone was raving about Mr Bones. We were not disappointed.
