Just missed the mark - almost there

Just wandering the promenade at Palm Cove last night (Saturday) looking for something to jump out & grab us (wife & I) to decide where we would have dinner. Hard life a few weeks in this paradise making the hard decisions. Lime & Pepper is part of the Pepper resort, looked inviting & the listed... read more

The food was amazing, the chef produces some of the best dishes I have tried with local produce. It was better than I have had in major cities and the prices are so reasonable.

Upon arriving I wanted badly to enjoy the evening & give this place a rave review. I'm not able to rave but I can recommend it. Service was OK with occasional poor service- ie. we had finished our guest drinks without being offered another & I had to go looking for a drinks menu before being ready to order. Food... More

We stopped here for a rather late lunch en route from Cairns to Port Douglas and were somewhat disappointed with the service and the meal. We had obviously missed peak service time but there still seemed to be a lot of staff on the clock as they were all standing around wiping/polishing glasses/cutlery near the bar. It took ages to... We visited this restaurant right when we got to Palm Cove and also the night before we left. Drinks were a little expensive, but food was comparable to everything you find in Palm Cove. The dishes were all flavorful combinations that you don't see put together at most places. You can order a main and add the tapas-style starters to... More

We were staying in a privately rented apartment in Peppers and went to Lime and Pepper during breakfast service just for coffees. Apparently this was too challenging for two staff to deal with as our room number wasn't listed on the the breakfast list. Very hostile and poor service which was disappointing as our experience there on our last visit... More

We stayed at the adjoining Peppers resort and usually eat here a few times during our stay, but the menu wasn't quite as interesting for all day dining as it has been previously. Having said that, we were impressed with the dinner menu, with a great range of starters. In addition, there was the option to have small or large... More

My sister and I organised a private dining experience at The Beach Club by the formal pool to say thank you for a fabulous holiday at The Beach Club, Palm Cove. It was a truly magical evening. The Events Manager, Danni and Head Chef, Thomas, had organised a poolside BBQ feast by candlelight for us of salmon, pork belly, chicken,... More

Lovely service from the table staff and a personal visit from the chef allude for a very pleasant dinner during our stay at Palm Cove. We had already enjoyed a light lunch the day before savoring the chefs tasting plate of chicken satay skewers, oysters, labne, prawns and whitlof cups. Dinner included a nice Italian Pinot Grigio, tasting plates of... More

Lime and Pepper is part of Peppers Palm Cove. We had breakfast there every day of our stay, because I chose the accomodation with the breakfast option - so I can't comment on the rest of the menu, but yes, the breakfast is excellent. Lots of choices, even for a vego like me. The hash browns are crispy, and yum.... More
