yum yum!

Cosy, friendly little tea-room. Went for afternoon tea and loved the food. Unable to finish everything so was provided with cake box so I could take remainder home. The carrot cake was best I've ever tasted.

We came away with the most amazing corn bread and another onion and potato loaf which we enjoyed once we were home. A really super little place to have a snack and buy lots of lovely goodies.

Afternoon tea has to be experienced to be believed ! Home cooked, huge portions and very tasty ! For £20 for two it's outstanding value. Wonderful selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from and if you struggle to eat all of your afternoon tea goodies they will even box up your leftovers so you can take it home !... More

We went to the Running Fox yesterday for a spot of lunch . Great selection of sandwiches etc , I had soup and sandwich combo for £7.25 which was great value . Service was first class despite being busy and even got some goodies from the shop for going home . Highly recommend

Came across this great cafe by accident and what a find. Lovely position looking over the river/main bridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent and judging the the fact this was mid week out of season being as busy speaks volumes, great menu and cant wait to go back for more. Dont think they had wifi
