Great food, great atmosphere, great service, one of my Queenstown/Arrowtown go to spots. The food is served in tapas style but just the perfect amount. I would recommend three dishes between two people. Tucked away, it is worth looking up.

This fabulous restaurant has to be a dining highlight during our week long stay in Queenstown. We visit at least twice a year during the autumn/winter season - and this experience surpasses all dining experiences we have had in this region. Upon advice we booked two days in advance - had we not we would have surely missed out! The...

Superb and very welcoming staff who explained the menu and made good suggestions. lots of interesting items on the menu. Food was high quality and tasty. Presentation was very casual, which fitted the style of the restaurant. The only issue was a large group of women including several who were staggering drunk and wandering around the restaurant. Staff need to...

We went to this restaurant on Good Friday for a wine and tapas after our drive up from Dunedin for the weekend. Excellent food and lovely sitting outside in the late afternoon sun. We would come back.
We have a small accommodation business in Arrowtown and recommend this place to all our guests. We also like going ourselves, of course. Rightly so, La Rumbla is popular so you must usually book to get a table. Don't miss, especially if you like very nice tapas style food.
Really tasty tapas and great wine list. Good atmosphere. Definitely recommend for cool casual dining!
If you're in/around Arrowtown, you MUST set aside an evening for tapas at La Rumbla. We ordered 5 dishes between two of us, and it was far too much, but we just couldn't decide between the delicious dishes on the menu! The food itself did not disappoint. Great service, knowledgeable staff, friendly atmosphere.
Success is a full house on Saturday night during the difficult shoulder season. La Rumbla was pumping. A late request for a seating for 13 was met with a can do attitude, the meet and greet handled with style by owner and maitre D and eased into the easy process tapas dining has become. Standouts were the Coconut fried chicken,...

I Have eaten a few times at La Rumbla and I still want more more. Food absolutely delicious, wine and cocktail menu superb, service & atmosphere fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.
Saturday night in Arrowtown can be much like any other night, a resort town is a seven days a week proposition. However when I mentioned to my work colleagues that we left the otherwise excellent La Rumbla tapas bar and restaurant early on Saturday night because it was so loud inside it was impossible to talk across a table, they...
