We had one of our best breakfast in New Zealand here. The take away bread is a must too. It is just one block off the main strip.
This restaurant is in a lovely little building in the exceedingly quaint old mining settlement of Arrowtown, a short drive from Queenstown. It was recommended to us by the staff at our hotel, and we were delighted. Very cute place with friendly staff and great food. Lovely area outside for dining on a beautiful morning. It is apparently always busy,... More
Walking into this cafe was truly like walking into your grandmother's home: the warmth, the food, the aromas. I just wanted to grab my suitcase and move in. Great food, great atmosphere and the ginger loaf was absolutely TO DIE FOR (and a bargain at $12 a loaf take home). Will definitely be a regular for us each time we... More
This cafe is possibly worth more than average but could not stretch to very good. The outside garden seating was pleasant, the menu was small without much imagination & the food was good but no better. The black coffee was terrible. The service was pleasant. A jar of chutney we bought was delightful. Would try to find something better next... More
Delightful garden setting in quaint Arrowtown, great coffee but food was a little dissappointing, I had a salad which had no flavour, service very slow.
Quaint and charming cafe with excellent service and food. Nice people, great garden too. Their baked items were "totally yummy" and there were delicious salad options for someone who is vegan which was a real bonus.
Quaint cottage with a traditional garden, wonderful menu, best coffee in NZ (so far). White bait butty turned out to be an omelette but very yummy.
This place has a charming garden you can sit out surrounded by pear trees etc. the coffee and hot chocolate were both good. The eggs Benedict were great. They bake their own bread which was also top notch. I wish I had their recipe for the holland arise sauce yum! Staff were all really nice, chilled out and friendly. I... More

Our orders included mushrooms and bacon on ciabatta. It arrived swimming in a thin bland sauce, the bacon overdone. The scrambled eggs on sautéed potatoes, tomato, and mushrooms. All great, but the potato appeared... More
When our family entered, there was a great selection to choose from, and we were quite excited to see that they home make some of their food, such as the bread. The meals we got were absolutely delicious, and the little chutney sauce that came with them was superb. The setting was very quaint and a lovely little cottage setting.... More
