We had a delightful experience here. A late lunch with lovely servers and very good food. And the weekly wine offering was a very good value. It was comfortable, low key and relaxed. The lunch menu choices were nice options. Try the Eton Mess for dessert. Be warned, it will easily feed two!

The restaurant provides a traditional style nz menu but in a great setting with very pleasant front of house staff. The venison carpaccio was excellent and the lamb melt in the mouth....but some of the accompanying items were a little tired eg the layered potatoes. Overall I would eat here again and would recommend it.

Went for dinner, was so good, went back for lunch the next day. This is a very well run restaurant, with efficient friendly staff and great food. The wine list also stocks lots of local wines and beers. I would like to recommend the seafood chowder. It comes in a huge bread case which is so delicious; it gets all... More

This charming little restaurant was a great find. We chose to eat outdoors and the quality of the food was outstanding. Service was good and the atmosphere was excellent. Prices were on the high side but as with fine dining, it was okay value for money. Being in NZ we enjoyed the lamb.

We visited this place for brunch between Christmas and New Years, and the place was flat out, with every outdoor table in use. We probably had to wait just under an hour for our food, which was actually quite nice. The serving staff were good but were let down by the wait for food from the kitchen. The cafe kitchen... More

Excellent food and excellent staff! The atmosphere is perfect. Worth a try and great place to stop after scouting around. Also nice ginger, rum & coconut sorbet! Every food item is good here!

After disappointment elsewhere in Arrowtown, found a table spare at busy Sunday lunchtime here. NZ mussels, a glass of wine, friendly and efficient service: couldn't ask for more.

We popped in to this restaurant for the first time this summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals - they were cooked to perfection. The drinks list was extensive and we were able to try a few new NZ specialities such as the Tuatara Wheat Beer and the Green Man Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Desserts were devine. We will definitely be back.

We had dinner here, and the evening was very pleasant. Compared with the other places we dined in Arrowtown, we felt that it was a little over-priced, and not such a vibrant buzz as the other places we experienced. The staff were quite friendly.

The food was really good and decently priced. Definitely get the Postmaster's Mule mocktail - it's one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had. Arrowtown is a very charming location. The only downside to this restaurant is that the bathrooms could do with more maintenance, otherwise it was lovely.
