The best welcoming 'host' in Arrowtown. Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. I was there on a cold night and the place was well-heated. Having a children's menu was a plus.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, we all had fish and chips which came wrapped in newspaper, chips really chunky and amazing, the fish was really nice. You must try this amazing drink they have (I can't remember the name) but it had honey, lemon and ginger and was so refreshing, I ordered one with lunch and one to take... More

Decided to eat here as there were 2 tables in the sun at the front of the restaurant. Sitting in the sun with great wine, perfect food and lovely service was just divine. They accommodated us and our 10 month old very well and we couldn't fault anything. Some of the best food we have had in many months. Just... More

We stopped here mainly as it was the closest place to where we parked. So had no idea or expectations going in. Once inside we found a cosy cafe/restaurant, steeped in local history. Service was attentive, food was delicious!. Highly recommend stopping here for a bite. We were travelling as a family (with toddler) and this was no issue. We... More

It's two years since we last visited this restaurant... and it's still just as good. We enjoyed the Trio of Dips with hot, home-made bread rolls (2) followed by slow-roasted Lamb with a glass of Pinot Noir ($12 glass) although any of the Pinot Noirs in this region would be fine. Because the dishes are a la carte, there's generally... More

Beautiful quaint setting on the Main Street of Arrowtown. We stopped for lunch on a chilly but sunny Winter's day. We ate outside as there were plenty of cushions and blankets to keep us warm. The mulled wine and soup were delicious! Fresh homemade bread and beautiful dinnerware! The cakes were a real treat too. Would easily go back.

We walked in to a busy restaurant with no reservation and highly fortunately only had to wait five minutes for a table. It had a nice, homey and clean decorative feel with a fire to keep the room warm. We ordered the mushroom risotto and the fish pie for mains. The risotto was a very large portion and the rice...
