OK

Arrowtown is a quaint little town near Queenstown and certainly worth visiting and a bit quieter and more relaxed than the busy and youthful Queenstown itself. The service was OK although I got the impression that the lady was none-to-impressed that I didn't order any sides with my burger. It was... read more

We went there for lunch today after seeing the Chinese specials on offer. The food was pretty filthy, particularly the chicken and chilli that seemed to be made from the lowest grade bits of meat that had come to hand, and the service was poor - not in terms of speed / efficiency but the complete lack of interest shown... The Hotel is in a picturesque setting in the heart of Arrowtown. We went there for an evening meal. The usual arrangement to first choose a Table and then go to the Bar to order and pay for the meal. The Bar Restaurant is well furnished and in good decorative order. Having taken our Order it took another one and... More

An iconic hotel/ pub with great food and lovely atmosphere . Loved it .. The fire was on one of the days we stopped for a meal and it made the whole experience ten times better.

Chinese menu on special, pictures looked inviting, reality less so!! Food was perfectly good, just not a lot of it. Obviously took a leaf out of McDonald's marketing book regarding the photo's. Guinness on tap always appreciated, friends said steak was good and service was good too

Went to New Orleans in February 2015 around 1pm the service was terrible with English staff that seemed they couldn't be bothered, the place wasn't busy and I ordered the burger. It took an hour to come and didn't taste right, I ate most of the chips and part of the burger and left the rest. Later that night my... More

Nice meal options with large portions. Nice raised area with the mountains looking down on you or you can eat off the main high street indoors. Enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine.

Worst place in Arrowtown. Waited over an hour and a half for dinner and the first course came out before the second. Several in our group wanted to cancel their order as it was so long. Food just ok when it did arrive. There are plenty of other places.

Three of us visited this establishment in February 2015 because we were looking for a spot for lunch and there seemed to be quite a few people choosing to eat here - also because they displayed a Trip Advisor sign on their door. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and a Jacketed Potato. One of my companions ordered a pork sandwich,... More

Came to the Hotel for dinner, just a pub meal would do I though. The food was ok, nothing exicting nothing bad but I though it was not as good as the other pub in Arrowtown. The staff at the hotel were tired and did not seem to be very excited about work. Overall, it's ok, no more no less.
