Decided to travel to this pub for lunch following a shopping trip to Kilver Court and gardens. Journeyed down the narrow lanes to find this pub nestled in the pretty village of Batcombe. We had not booked but they found us a table inside. My Daughter and I had the traditional roast, lamb and beef. Really tasty, well presented food... More

Made our way here for Sunday lunch when staying at a local campsite. Excellent meal. I had beef, hubby had lamb. Both meals were plentiful with tender meat and fresh veg. We shared cheeseboard for pudding. Local cheese and enough to share. Would not hesitate to recommend. Excellent value for money.

The chef uses locally sourced grass-fed... More

The pub is in a lovely location in the quiet hamlet of Batcombe. We had an excellent Sunday lunch sat in the garden enjoying the warm weather. Roast lamb, Pork belly with a couple of glasses of very chilled wine served by helpful staff. Will return.

My wife and I acquired a Tastecard recently, so decided to travel to the Three Horseshoes for lunch. We were greeted by a very polite young man who had reserved a table for us. I like real ale and was offered samples of the guest beers. We ordered our food, the service was excellent as was the food, in all... More

Well, this was a REAL find. I was visiting friends in Nunney and they suggested lunch at The Three Horseshoes. We were made welcome by a charming lady - who let me sample the Butcombe Bitter, which was delicious. I had the ham Eggs and Chips, simple food! well done. A good menu with a sensible amount of choices, rather... More
