Rural Idyll.

The first time we tried to find The Three Horseshoes we got slightly lost. But it's well worth persisting until you find it. Slightly off the beaten track but the beautiful countryside and good food and drink made it worthwhile! Food a little pricey but top quality and decent portions - maybe a few smaller options could be added to the menu to suit younger or 'not starving hungry' visitors? Good range of ciders too.

Really lovely pub, and excellent cask cider. The staff very friendly with good bar snacks. The only reason I didn't give more stars was it took our food over a hour to arrive and by then a little too many drinks had been consumed to fully enjoy it! Also some orders were wrong and some of our party had to... More

Thank you for the good review and glad you enjoyed the evening, a little disappointed you felt you waited over an hour for food but glad you enjoyed the drink! A cracking Monday evening for us with a short notice booking, booked for 12 perhaps 14 ended up 16 with a few turning up late. An hour from initial ordering... More

This is a lovely old inn with a friendly welcome and a short, but tempting menu. Also a good range of choices for kids. Ate in the garden overlooking the 17th church. Fab.

We visit this pub every year on our trip to Somerset from New Zealand..this year my 94 yr old Mother asked to come here to lunch..all I can say is Shambollic ...this must be under new management?? Straight away we saw that everyone was doing everything...there should be a zappy bar maid..a zappy waitress..and a zappy "in charge" luckily we... More

We visaited on a weekday lunchtime and sat in the garden with the only two other customers. Nobody else came in while we were there. What a shame. This is a loveley pub in a wonderful setting, but I have to say that the food, although good, is not cheap. A burger and chips, gnocchi, one ice cream, a pint... More

Great food, great service and friendly staff. Dog was very welcomed by all with a brilliant beer garden for those long sunny beer garden days. Reasonably price for the quality and the portions are very generous. Would defiantly recommend a visit, we will defiantly be returning

Good selection of ales and ciders too. Good service and accommodating to dietary requirements. Felt like a great part of the village.

Heard very good reports from friends about this pub and thought we would try it. We only wanted a snack at lunchtime & pork pies displayed on the bar looked appetising so my partner had one with a "messy salad" and I had a BLT. She said the pie was quite disappointing with little taste and completely lacking in seasoning.... More

We called in for a meal to break up a long drive to Devon. We chose the Three Horseshoes after searching for a nice pub that was dog and child friendly. We could not have chosen better. The staff were friendly, location and garden are lovely, very nice beers and best of all was the fresh, well put together and... More
