Group lunch booking excellent per head value and fabulous location, sea views, vineyards and lunch smorgasbord food, very tasty with local delicacies on the menu. Also enjoyed the games provided and a very memorable afternoon. Absolutely stunning sea & vineyard views with a beautiful Sunny day enjoyed by us all!

We were greeted by Lorna, who was hilarious, very personable, and educated us about wines we had not tasted before. Te Deux Blanc was divine and we had to share a bottle after (sorry) during the tasting! The platter of cheese and local meats and olives was scrumptious. The setting, overlooking the bay, was stunning. Not a bad place to... More

The vineyard is in Russell, 2 kms from the car ferry, and definaetly worth visiting. Set on the hill it overlooks the green trees, the blue sea surrounding the bays and has a timeless feel to it. The wines are interesting. To add to previous reviews by fellow TA's, I particularly enjoyed the Chardonnay, which embodies a "good old fashioned... More

Stunning venue for a wedding unfortunately Omata Estates manager Bruce made it an unpleasant experience. We booked the venue before he was on board so we didn't really have the option to change when he came along as it was too late. His manner was very unfriendly and rude. He made us feel like it was such an inconvenience to... More

Anchored by sailboat and walked up a great trail to this amazing find. The view is breath taking, the Deux Blanc has converted even this red lover, and the service, welcoming friendship, provided by Lorna, was outstanding. This place is not visited enough. Go.

After a 2hour walk finally reached omata. Well worth the effort. Such a beautiful place. Great wine, of course. The platter of food was a work of fine art. Lorna, doing the tastings, relaxed, welcoming and informative. Marguerita behind the bar was playing cool Cuban Cd's. We had such a feeling of well being that the journey back to our campsite... Such a great place - absolutely beautiful spot overlooking the vines and the bay. We had a group of three and went for the platter which was so filling and tasty with a selection of cheeses, smoked marlin, olives and an assortment of other delicacies. We would highly recommend and will be back for certain.

Whoever wrote that bad review needs their head read. If it's busy then of course you'll wait esp on the busiest days of the year. Margarite answered the phone and was most helpful and pleasant as I made the booking - good English too. Lorna served us and was very pleasant and informative, tastings were enough that we could then... More

What a view! The wines were nice although the tasting portions were so small it was hard to really get a taste of the various wines. The antipasto platter was lovely, especially the smoked fish and mussels. Went well with a glass of rosé. The serving staff were rather off-hand about it all. No - the smoked fish wasn't local,...
