Great place to dine

Came here for a Hen's dinner and glad I chose this restaurant to have it; what an excellent tapas menu! Great prices and good portion sizes! I highly recommend the seafood arancine and the calamari. If you have difficulties to get a table a Duke Of Marlborough, don't hesitate to walk back 20 meters and grab a table at Wharf. Staff, although under numbered when we got there, was very efficient and quite nice. Food was excellent. My wife and daughter enjoyed mussels. Two different kind of sauce and big sized mussels. While my son... More

We had a fantastic evening in the Wharf watching the sunset in this beautiful location. The service by the waiter was first class. he felt his English was not great but we did not find it a problem and he was so attentive and genuinely charming. The tapas was lovely, well presented and delicious . I would recommend this restaurant... More

Twice over the last few weeks I have gone into The Wharf! The first time I went up to the counter to ask to see a menu and the waiter had just made a coffee and proceeded to walk past me to take it to the kitchen and never came back! No greeting! Today I thought we would try again... More

Locations don't come much better than the middle of Russell, and The Wharf has a great position, right at the end of the town Wharf. Food is good, but rather too much for my liking was pre-prepared and so didn't have the freshness that I would expect. The tapas was mostly pre-prepared and the chowder was just about Ok. Whilst... We ended up at this place after our first two choices were full booked (The Duke and The Gables) and were very pleasantly surprised!!! Four of us (two couples) enjoyed multiple tapas and all were very tasty as was the wine and drinks. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and social. Our waiter was Italian and had us chatting the entire... More

The staff at The Wharf were fantastic - prompt, friendly and very solicitous. The tapas were tasty and arrived quickly. Recommendations made were taken up and proved excellent. The beef cheek could have been a bit warmer but overall a very enjoyable evening watching the sunset over the harbour. Recommended!

Lovely waterfront restaurant serving small sharing plates as well as main meals and hot stone cooking. Food is lovely and fresh with a large menu to make ones choice from. Staff are helpful, cheerful and well trained. Cocktails in the evening are fabulous.

An ideal location for a sundowner drink and snack. take advantage of the happy hour specials. Do not expect top quality wine by the glass or you will be disappointed. Food only average, the Ceviche had lovely fresh fish but was swamped in coconut milk which killed the flavour.

A very friendly reception when we arrived. The waitress was helpful widen we were choosing which tapas meals to select. Each tapas meal was beautifully cooked and presented. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned the following evening!
