We regularly go there for lunch as they have a Seniors Special for $17.50 (2 courses) every day - The meals in the evening are really large - service is brilliant and friendly

Great place to eat and drink. Very friendly helpful staff without being in your face. We attended late at night, and were welcomed, without feeling we were a nuisance. Great atmosphere all round. Love the long table.

We decided to have a bite to eat so walked down to this place and read the menu outside the front door Immediately we were approached by several people .... staff I presume .... all hell bent on getting us to sit down and order ... now! We nearly did, but then the manager, I think, followed up by suggesting... More

I really enjoyed my meal on the 2 occasions we dined there. The beef Wellington was delicious and so was the chocolate desert. I felt it was a little pricey but I didn't mind paying as the service made up for it!

Looks like a rustic pub. But it disguises itself as a superb bistro. Please visit this excellent establishment for its food and amazing service from Gary, Pete, Paul,Mike, Sharnie and the rest of the hospitality team. We are not locals but for ux to remember so many if the service team speaks for itself! Absolutely recommended.

I am from Germany and I don' t expect ***-cuisine when going into a pub. If I want that, I go to a "real" restaurant. The food we ordered was good, not really our taste, but taste is a very subjective thing, right? So if I just rate the quality of the food it was good. All in all this... More

Great food, large portions well servered. We had dinner there twice and each was cooked very well and had some good naval features.

This is a real pub type venue where portions are huge. We sat outside on a lovely evening and enjoyed the laid back feeling and the food.

Only ate here once during our stay in Tahunanui but food was very good and value for money. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Would have eaten there on another evening but they had live music on - well, all I can say is that they made up for in loudness what they lacked in musical skill (we were not the only... More
