Went for breakfast. I had a nice omelette and hubby had the full breakfast, which was also nice. The coffee was very nice ... Over all very pleasant but nothing exceptional. The service was very nice. Be warned there is no EFTPOS, but the prices are reasonable so if you have cash, and just feel like a nice, ordinary breakfast... More

“Alls swell and end swell”

We decided to take a day in the bay and ended up having lunch here. Fresh food , great coffee and shakes . The owners of this little gem of a place are really nice to talk to. We will be back

went there again when it reopened with new management and was very diappointed with the coffee and muffins this time around. Friendly owners but inexperienced maybe???

“Under new management”

We went down to Swell Cafe at around 10.00aam this morning (Wednesday) for a coffee fix but we were out of luck. The sign on the door said "under new management" and it was shut. No information about opening hours. Who knows what it will be like in future?

“Fresh muffins”

Muffins were fresh (only one type available), coffee was good, one person working was very busy taking orders, preparing food and baking. I am sure service is friendlier if you are a local as many of the previous reviewers seemed to be.

Swell cafe would by far have the best coffee in town! When in town be sure to go down and check it out! Be sure to try the Egg & Bacon Delux, followed by a home made muffin!! Swell cafe has the best coffee in Hervey Bay. The muffins are amazing. You can't go to Hervey Bay and not go here. If you're looking for a great breakfast try the scrambled egg croissant or the bacon and egg muffin. amazing flavours. Love this place.
