We had a few coffees here and they were consistently good. Food good too and the staff were friendly. Went there for breakfast and there was a good choice. I had a toasted bagel which is all you want with a coffee sometimes!

Very conveniently situated opposite a car park, this was a great find for a fairly speedy lunch after seal watching. Good meat, excellent chips and served with salad, cheese, egg, beetroot etc etc. having now read the reviews I wish I'd had a coffee but their range of bottled organics juices was great. Be prepared to fend off seagulls if... More

Ordered the salmon salad for $15 and expected a small serving. Instead got served an amazing and huge salad with loads of flavour and even better - loads of salmon! The service is great, I highly recommend this place.

We went for a coffee before going off to explore the area. My husband is pretty particular about his coffee and he was really impressed. After we'd been for our walk went back to have lunch and it was well worth it. The cabinet food looked lovely but we ordered from the lunch menu. The food came out quickly, and... More

I'm told that the Reserve Hut takes its name from the owners farming family and the bush huts they used, hence the quirky furnishings - like it or loath it! We stopped for coffee only glad that didn't include a longer stay with food as we chose to sit near the coffee machine extremely noisy. Great delicious coffee and very... More

I had the eggs Benedict with salmon and a long black. The eggs Benedict was great - tasted good, excellent presentation, generous portion, fresh ingredients. Excellent coffee automatically served as I love it - short black with a jug of hot water on the side. Good service, today's newspaper available. There was also good, fresh counter food available.

I love a good coffee, and as I drink it black the roast is important. At the Reserve Hutt they roast their own coffee, and it shows. Mine was really good. Although it was a good coffee I was after, they also make an excellent salad, just right for a lunch. My granddaughter enjoyed her wedges almost as much as... More

Sitting in the sun, on a cold autumn day, what could be better than an amazing local seafood chowder. The service was friendly and helpful , and the food was delicious.
