Good

It was good. A lot of food for the price. I had troubles to have a second glass of wine. There was a lot of people in the restaurant for the number of waiter, but the service was still good :) I would go back

This restaurant is situated conveniently opposite the top-ten site. The staff are extremely helpful and recommend to your taste. However, they will cook to your own recipe if you request ! The food is freshly produced to each order and the range is superb. I have yet to find a nicer, more satisfying Indian cuisine. The wait was not long... More

Excellent food with a wide variety of choices. There are about 13 vegetarian entrées as well which are very hard to find in most restaurants in New Zealand. The lamb was very tender. If you like Indian food, this is the place to go in Kaikoura. We would recommend it without reservation! Steve & Susan Jones Louisville KY

It's not just the food it's how you are treated. The food was good and I am hard to please outside of India. The service was attentive and helpful. A good alternative to the numerous pizza places here.

My wife and I (we are Americans) ate at another Coriander facility in Rolleston (near Christchurch NZ) and had a fine meal there. We were out looking for dinner and spotted the Kiakoura Coriander and decided to give this one a try. We were very happy with the meal, the service and the meal were both excellent. Very friendly staff!

It was just some spicy sauce with poor quality meat. Every packaged food from the supermarket is better.

We took take-away from this restaurant two nights in a row. Pleasantly surprised to Find rice free. The meaty dishes were pretty good but the vegetable dishes are avoidable. Case in point, cauliflower potato is never cooked with gravy always as a dry vegetable with spices.Go for it if you are craving Indian, otherwise the supermarket options are really good... More

The restaurant obviously had a big table of guests prior to our arrival, the mess on the floor and all over the table was off putting as it was not cleared during our time there, our table however was clean and nicely laid. Some of the items we ordered were not available, such as mint sauce, they had run out.... More

Food and service was good, Other than not having prawns to make a few of the dishes we originally ordered, curries were nice.
