Great food

After the restaurant we wanted to go to had closed down this was next door. The decor is a little confusing but the staff were great and I have to say the meal we ordered which was fish of the day was brilliant.

We were in Kaikoura for 2 nights. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food tasted like those we had back home in Malaysia. After traveling in New Zealand for 3 weeks, it is really nice to have some food familiar to our taste buds. The ambience of the restaurant was also nice. Staff was friendly. Great restaurant!

Yum...my partner and I had dinner here whilst in Kaikoura recently and were not disappointed. The salt and pepper squid was delicious and this was followed up by the fish dish and the seafood curry, both meals were great. The prices may be a little expensive but it is winter in this tourist town and you also don't mind paying... More

We found the food here was very tasty (we each had different curries). Staff were very pleasant, and quick to help with the set up of a high chair. Food came quickly, and lived up to the TripAdvisor reputation.

Indonesian chicken dish with rice was very sublime, but a middling salad -please some lettuces, presented whole leaf , are tough in May, Salad contained slivers of other vegetables too & the dressing was good Able to have a conversation as acoustics good

Family Thai restaurant. Absolutely tremendously delicate flavours. I had the beef. Everyone we asked in Kaikoura recommended Tuti's and it was great. Charming staff, relaxed atmosphere and amazing food. I have eaten in lots of restaurants, and I will be returning at Christmas when I plan to be back in Kaikoura.

Groper steak was cooked beautifully, smoked salmon was used pretty sparingly on the salmon salad and the dressing was nice. Desserts were boring but husband liked his very sweet sticky date pudding. Intended on getting a crayfish meal prior but as per rest of Kaikoura, was ridiculously overpriced. Service was excellent.

My husband and I had 2 nights in Kaikoura and went to Tutis on our first night. Had seafood curry and lamb curry both very generous portions and beautifully spiced. Do visit!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Shared the bread and dips and then the seafood curry and the lamb shanks. It isn’t cheap but service was friendly, the portions were generous, lots of seafood in the curry, and everything was very tasty, tempted to lick the plate! Would definitely go back next time we are in Kaikoura.
