What a lovely cafe. The outstandingly light carrot cake and lovely coffee along with the wonderful staff who worked there brought us back time and time again for another afternoon coffee and cake, breakfast and dinner. The food is excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed and I cannot say enough nice things about the lovely young ladies who worked there... More

The in-house smoked salmon on their stone ground whole grain bread is wonderful, espcially when paired with a Seresin wine.

We came for a late lunch and were offers the snack menu. The soup of the day, tomato and fennel was delicious and the bread and dips great. Very accomodating and decent coffee.

This place was recommended by a friend who used to live in Kaikoura and as we were over from the UK and staying up the road we thought we would give it a try. We went for dinner in the evening and turned up without a booking and they were happy to sit us down but advised there could be... More

Have to say that Kaikoura suffers from a bit of a generic-pub food scene, which is an incredible shame given the potential to use seafood and showcase good quality Kiwi cuisine. That said, we were relieved to find this place for breakfast on the way out of town. We were really happy with the meals and the service. Good, quality... More

Lovely venue with wide verandas and timber furniture. Kids area with toys and blackboards. We had cake and coffee - lemon meringue, ginger slice, and passion fruit and white chocolate cake. All GF and all delish.

We came here for a green smoothie and some hot drinks the first morning we were in Kaikoura and loved the relaxed environment so we returned for breafast the following day. If we were in town longer then we may have stayed for lunch too! Delicious spinach and falafel meal ad the lentil & cashew burger was also tasty! Average... More

Nice looking place, and had very good service, but the food was pricey and not as nice we expected. We had salad, nachos and greek salad, nice but not worth going back for

Prompt service with a smile. Beautifully presented food that tasted better than it looked (and it looked amazing!) Fantastic obviously fresh smoothie and great selection of beer. Very reasonably priced considering everything is wholefoods / organic, which usually comes with an inflated price tag. Gutted I was leaving so couldn't go again.

Our favorit afternoon place to go for a nice place in the sun and a good cop of coffee. Nice service as well.
