Have passed this restaurant on numerous occasions without realising what a gem it has turned out to be. Have since visited often, and have never had a bad meal or service. The menu offers good choices and the specials board always has something worth trying, but would have to confess that the lambs fry and bacon, lunch and dinner versions,... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel manager. What a good call. T service was very warm an friendly, the wait tme was minimal and the food was delicious. The room is a little cold and the decor drab but functional. The wine was unnacceptably expensive compared to the food prices.

Yes, we did wait much too long for our table but it was well worth it. My husband had hapuka, our friends had the lamb salad and baked chicken breast on a bed of beetroots with basil and feta cheese. The waiter even shared some of his fishing pictures with us as he was going fishing the next day. Yummy,... More

After a failed attempt to dine at Revas at the town basin, we were fortunate to end up here instead. Fabulous staff, nice atmosphere and tasty food. Service wasn't fast but it was such a nice atmosphere, we didn't care. We were looked after on arrival with drinks and staff were very friendly and apologetic re wait for food. Generous... More

Spent a relaxing enjoyable few hours on a Friday about 4 pm. Wine was a little pricey. Had large plate of the supreme wedges to share, very nice. Also had a mini sirloin steak Burger which was very tasty

Really enjoyed our meal here on Saturday lunchtime. Lamb salad was fantastic. Hard to find a good salad dish that's filling. Great coffee. Good service, they even printed out some tickets for us with no qualms. Highly recommend this spot. Partner had the fettuccine and the chowder.

This was a very pleasant experience. On a warm evening you could sit outside, and on a cooler evening inside with a lovely ambience to the restaurant. The menu offer me plenty to choose from and I opted for the special fish of the day and was not disappointed.

A very nice place to come and chill. Service by the female waitress was excellent and we enjoyed our Port glazed pate with bread and red onion jam. For the main we had the Pasta with chicken, bacon & mushrooms in a creamy garlic sauce and Beer battered bluenose with fries and coleslaw.
