We were recommended this Thai restaurant by the owner of the Burgundy Rose motel where we were staying overnight on our journey to the Paihia, Bay of Islands. Arriving late evening after getting grid-locked in Auckland, we were pleasantly surprised to find this very good eatery in Kamo Road just a short walk from the motel. Although it was a... More

Thank you very much for your nice review :) Yes, I remember Friday 1st May to be an insanely busy night where we regrettably turned many customers away. In fact during 6-7 PM on that day, I could not even step away from the telephone, as the takeaway orders kept coming. It was a very scary night, but I and... More

Very tasty Thai food with very attentive and helpful service. I dined alone and had the salt and pepper squid followed by prawn stir fry ... prawns were tender, succulent and very tasty.

Dear Kevin Thank you very much for your nice review. Our kitchen staffs' work tasks are very heavy, as we are getting busier and busier as each year goes by as more and more Whangarei residents know about us. Despite their very heavy workload, they did not fail to impress you on their exceptional cooking. We look forward to serve... More

Dear Sheryl I am very glad to know that you enjoy our food. As for the venue, we started out this business in September 2012 when we felt that there are so many seats each night that we must fill. However, the word of mouth did its magic and more and more people tried our food. The vast majority of... More

The restaurant decor was fairly ordinary and service efficient but not particularly welcoming. However,we really enjoyed the food which was excellent and good value.

Recommended by the motelier, we tried this because we enjoy Thai food. Pleasant staff who seated us quickly in a packed restaurant. The usual fare that you find in good Thai restaurants. Food came quickly and it was reasonably priced. Service a little slow towards the end but we enjoyed the food.
