I really enjoyed the lunch pita i chose (chicken and falafel) and the staff were very friendly. I have eaten here only a couple of times but it is well spoken of by others i know.

Beautiful food, a must in Whangarei. Those dates wrapped in bacon are too die for, I sometimes still salivate thinking about them. So good.

We wanted to try something different to the usual Thai or Indian and found this little restaurant/cafe in Quality Street. The tastes of Morocco were amazing, spicy but not too hot. Very friendly owner and excellent service.

food was nice, just think it needs to be more exotic. i believe people dont understand your sort of food well enough. Maybe if the menu changed regularly and the drinks were more affordable you might feel more like it was value for money. smells are really important in arabic restaurants. Apple tee and spice permeating the restaurant would prob.... More

Some of the best service we have had since being in Whangarei (living here now). The girl was delightful and we even left a tip ;-) the owner is also a very nice man who helped us work out the menu and made helpful suggestions which we took and which were delicious. They have belly dancing evenings and the upstairs... More

My husband and I met up with friends there again on Friday night (19th) and as always atmosphere, food, and the lovely belly dancer were a perfect combination. I am vegetarian the others carnivores and I am well catered for at this Cafe. We will be back again and again, oh yes, the prices are very good, wine selection pretty... More

Myself and girlfriend thought we would try it out , really good tasty food , nice and warm inside , guys , you must get a seat facing the centre of the restaurant as the belly dancer ( she was fantastic ) cannot be watched without getting a sore neck if you are facing away from the centre of the... We have eaten here several times and have always had great food with warm friendly efficient service. On this occasion we were a large group(19!) So we were not sure if we would have the same experience, but we were not disappointed the service was excellent, the food as always was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you Nomad!
