If you are wanting pizza you are better off going down the road to Pizza Hut as it is about the same quality. The pasta was over cooked and tasteless. Definately not the way this simple food should be.

Freshly cooked pizza to go. Hard to elaborate on something so simple but deserving of their good reputation (as advised by the local garage!)

We just stumbled Di Luca's and decided to eat dinner there. The owner was lovely and the pasta was one of the best ate. I would definitely recommend it.

My work assignment in Thames has resulted in us trying most of the eating establishments in the town. Di Lucca's would rank as one of the better ones we have tried. It is easy to find on Pollen Street (northern part of the town). We shared a pizza with a bottle of classic chianti wine. The pizza would ranked as... More

My family and I were considering driving home to Auckland after an afternoon in Cathedral Cove but decided to stop in Thames and see if we could find something interesting. We drove down Pollen Street, the main street in town toward Coromandel. My daughter wanted Spaghetti and we found Di Luca's. We wound up ordering a Marghertia pizza, a large... More

Great pizza, salad and pasta. We had a great meal after a long day of hiking. Andy took good care of us. The service was wonderful. We will definitely go back.

A pleasant restaurant with basic Italian food and pizzas. Not the best Italian I've had and by no mean the worst. Service was pleasant and the restaurant was very clean.

Had dinner here while passing through Thames the owner was so friendly and nice. The service here can't be beat. The restaurant is small and cozy comfortable seats and nice decor. The chips were beautifully seasoned and the roast garlic Aoli was delightful. I had the godfather pizza it was nice perhaps could have used more sauce to give it... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Di Lucas on what seemed a busy night for Thames and the four of us were very surprised that after 7.30pm we were the only diners!. The food was great, tasty and plenty of it, the wine list needs some additional choices and all four of us agreed the restaurant is missing some of... More

We ate here twice during our 5 day stay in Thames. Andy was extremely welcoming and friendly and the pasta was delicious. Good value food in pleasant surroundings.
