Coffee & Ice cream go together....

You could have an afogato, but why mix a baristas good coffee with good tasting ice cream. They have gelato and fair dinkham kiwi ice cream that's so good I even stop for ice cream on cold winter rainy days. Then the coffee to re-warm. Food is fairly good café kiwi food. I just have to stop... read more

Great location just opposite the beach & best on a sunny day as the Cafe itself is tiny & you want to be able to sit outside. The meals & coffee are all good & it is licensed. The only drawback I have found over several visits is that sometimes there is a long wait for your food. The good... More

This has become a trendy upmarket café with nice 'home cooked' meals and cakes etc. It is across the road from a lovely beach and park so just perfect for relaxing. The staff were super friendly and pleasant. A bit pricey for me but not unreasonable for today s cafés.

Now this little cafe is a real sweetie. My friend has a bach nearby & I'm forever telling her how lucky she is to have the best cafe for miles in either direction in her own bay, Waiomu. Great food cooked in the kitchen & how amazing is it that they have a real bach next door as their inside... More

We have been here several times, having stayed in Te Puru on a couple of occasions. Staff a lovely, down to earth people (probably mostly casuals); the food is great (particularly if you are into Brunch stuff) and the coffee is reliably good - a real bonus for coffee officionados. Plenty of choice for both sweet toothed and savoury preferences.

Occupying a beautiful spot across the road from Waiomu beach reserve, this cafe is deceptively big. It has glorious views and delicious food to match. The queues were long on the day we went, but the staff were really friendly and cheerful. Lots of cabinet choices (the Louise Cake was divine) as well as a blackboard menu. Drinks were not... More

Only cafe between Thames and coromandel. Lots of sweet things to choose , not much savoury. We could have had a meal but we didn't need that. Drinks took 10 mins at least to come, and tables not wiped and cleared til we asked. Staff could do with some training. They came with food and went back empty handed when... More

This cafe is magic. The service is always friendly and the food amazingly fresh. With views across the road to the water and the reserve to run around in once you've eaten...perfect

Stopped in on the way up the Coromandel Peninsula. Lovely morning, needed a good breakfast. And we got one. The ladies were wonderful, the coffee was fine, and the breakfast was just right. Will be stopping again next time I am in that area.

We stopped there for breakfast after doing the K2 bike race. The presentation and quality of food on display was fantastic and our breakfast's were so yummy and such great value. The service and friendliness could not be faulted. Supreme coffee was made beautifully. Overall a top cafe.
