Ive been here before and it was in winter when the menu was quite small . I think that someone who enjoys their German food would like the German part of the menu as you can eat alot or eat small . Their Pork nuckle is Amazing!!! And huge!. They have a very Good Summer menu on now with so... More

This is the place to go if you've got a group of hungry people. Lots of choices, lots of space, well-made meals, good job all around!

What an amazing place. The setting and gardens are superb. I've never seen lavender and rosemary hedges like this before. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Weiner Schnitzel which was absolutely delicious and the largest I've ever eaten. Excellent value for money indeed! If you are a small eater I'd recommend you ask for the childrens' serve. The beer... More

My daughter was married there yesterday. Food excellent quality and quantity. Service brilliant with function manager Kylie had the whole day working like clockwork. Her attention to detail and ensuring a stress free day was second to none. Highly impressed as were all of the one hundred guests attended. Would recommend them as the perfect location for a stress free... More

Stunning location and venue and one of our favourite lunch spots in Margs, but we were disappointed in the food this time round. The menu has been reduced significantly and a lot of the nice touches are gone for more bland options. As an example there were brewers pan's for 1 or 2 on the menu previously and when ordered... I really enjoyed everything about Duckstein Brewery when I was there 4 years ago so I made a point of taking my parents there when they visited recently from Melbourne. We were all extremely disappointed with the food especially because we know exactly what German/Austrian food should be like. This was a classic case of below average pub food at... More

Schnitzel was awesome. Beautiful spot! Good beer selection but not many wines. So many places to choose from but like this place one of the most

Worst food ever. Might have been the fact that the chefs were too busy smoking and drinking in the garden to be cooking the food...don't know...Was unedible. Do not get the lamb shanks. Ugh

We stopped at Duckstein for some of our group to to the beer tasting. Although I skipped the tasting on this occasion, I was thoroughly impressed by the estate. Duckstein has a terrace that overlooks a lovely dam with a Vegas like fountain dancing in the centre. The sound of the water and the atmosphere was a perfect stop to... More

Finally, on our Bushtucker Tour of the wineries, here was something for my beer-drinking husband to enjoy. He bought the sample tray to start out, then he chose a beer and I tried the cider. Both were excellent. A great cap to a great day.
