Booked a table for 11 people at 2:30pm on the Sunday of the Australia day long weekend. On arrival it was difficult to find anyone in charge, our table had been given to another party- we arrived on time. After a while we were given another table but sadly because of the run around we only had minutes to order... More

Venue is nice and we enjoyed the drinks. Not busy during happy hour AND they don't sell any kind of food. Not even a bag of chips. Cheap drinks and no food is far from a good experience. Now I have half pint and kinda want to leave. Definitely be back to try the food.

This again is our second visit, we were trying to buy some wine accessories from the Sarensen wine outlet that has since closed. Secondly I love to eat and drink around water, the Duckstein has an impressive lake side restaurant and an internal great hall, all seems a bit cold and unwelcoming. We ordered a meal which was good not... More

If you haven't eaten for a few days and what you want is fried food this is the place for you. I might be picky but a chicken salad with fried chicken done to a crisp or salt and pepper squid salad with squid wrapped in bread crumbs (I think) and deep fried was a bit unusual ,although in both... A wonderful and picturesque setting greeted us upon arrival. Perfect place for a wedding was our first thoughts. We were welcomed at the Eurobar by an absolutely delightful staff member who explained what was available and offered us a taste of the cider. She had excellent customer service skills and gave the venue a great first impression. A reserved table... More

Duckstein has found it's feet again after some menu changes and changing the Saracen winery section to a drinks bar. It's one of the most picturesque settings in Margs, dining overlooking a great lake with big kiddies playground and bridge to an Island for them to explore, The beer is excellent and authentic (especially the hefeweiss) and the food this... This Brewery and restaurant, having visited a second time, still disappoints because of the way it is managed. After booking a table for 7 adults, we had to queue up individually to order at a single cash register for our food which took nearly 15 minutes, then step to the bar queue and wait another 5 minutes to get our... we stopped by for a late lunch, this is a big place, family friendly - the food is on the level of fast food, the price is on a high class restaurant, for self ordering at the counter a steak for 42$ is way too much, food is served 5 min. after ordering, the beef on the burger is definitely... Beer is great but the fruit wines are even better. Excellent service form the guys behind the counter. Didn't have a meal but checked out the menu and the prices were reasonable. Very relaxing sitting out on the verandah having a drink.

I chose the Barramundi as I can only eat certain foods, they only had Salmon, the Salmon was nice although it was missing the sweet potato chips? As I can't eat white potato rosti, I was left paying $32 for 1 small piece of Salmon & steamed spinach. A waiter clearing tables asked how the meal was, I told him... More
