Had our Anniversary lunch here today. Were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff and the view over the ocean from the verandah was terrific. Thursday is roast lunch special but unfortunately the roast pork was nothing special. I realise $7.90 is really cheap for a meal but the meat was dry and over cooked the only other roasted thing on... More

Whilst located in a beautiful spot the way we had been treated upon our visit was absolutely appalling. Beers were warm, the toilets were dirty and weren't look after (only 1 cubicle had paper), the staff were incredibly rude and didn't seem to have much of an idea of what they were doing. At the end of the night plain... More

9 of us turned up for an evening meal and were seated straight away. It is a great location Once our orders were taken the meals arrived pretty quickly and there was plenty on the plates. The guys who had the steaks were all very happy, the Fish & chips were good and the chicken parmigiana was pretty good also,... More

My husband and I had a Roast lunch here and enjoyed it very much. The meal was cheap and plenty on the plate.

I am very disappointed with the Tavern. I rang the day before to book a table for 12 to 15 people and to check if they still did Thursday roast, told the lady on the phone we will all be having the roast at 1.00pm, but will be a bit late as our lunch break is 1-2 and we have... More

I'm sorry, but I've never heard of having a chicken kiev when the kiev is done on the drumstick part of the chicken! Very very strange! Overpriced for what it is, and I found the food a bit bland.

I haven’t tried the breakfast yet but had lunch and diners and it has always been a pleasure. The place is average (not fancy) but the food and staff are always nice

I have been to Hungry Hollow and it is basically right on the beach! The scenery is great and it is a very enjoyable environment! Would recommend coming back for drinks with friends to 'chill out' and have some fun!

Four of us had lunch here on a Monday. Two had fish and chips (3 pieces of battered unknown fish, crinkle-cut chips, salad laden with mayo-style dressing; $23.50 each), one had a club sandwich (white toaster sliced bread, side of crinkle-cut chips; $14.50), and I had the roast of the day (2 slices of roast beef, packet frozen peas and...
