Visited with overseas guests. Service was very good. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. It surprised us how much of the food was 'deep fried'. Perhaps, it was just those dishes that we ordered. It reminds me to ask more questions before I order (at any restaurant) next time. The worst dish was the soft shell crab. It just tasted... More

Lovely food quick takeaway. Service with a smile. Definitely a must to visit if walking past and are hungry for spicy food.

Despite having made a reservation 24 hours in advance, was told there was no reservation. Managed to get a table, but the service was poor. The waitress forgot our drinks, and one main course! Perhaps they were understaffed, over-worked, or both, but that's not an excuse for a supposedly reputable (and busy) restaurant in St. Kilda. Advice to others: stay... More

Visited while on holidays from England and met friends. There were 8 of us and they accommodated the late reservation without fuss. Nice table in the window. We too the banquet to keep things simple and were not disappointed. Everything was hot, tasty and plenty to share.

Based on other reviews we booked as a family on Saturday and were not disappointed. Good size portions and beautiful flavours. Every meal we ordered was excellent with the possible exception of the duck salad which was mainly bean sprouts and duck. Service was also great. Very friendly and attentive even though restaurant was packed.

Lunch special was excellent value for money. Authentic and fresh ingredients! Came for for a quick stop, but stayed and enjoyed the recharge. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about this restaurant. The owner greeted us beautifully and sat us outside at a table on the street. Was a lovely balmy night and we loved watching all the people and trams passing by. Water was brought to us immediately and our drink order taken. Love that kind of service. We were on our way to the... More

Always happily busy. Always a fabulous meal! BYO corkage is not over the top- thank you! Lemongrass beef is a favoutire. Claypot tofu is delicious, and the Ayam Kelantan (on the specials board): lime and galangal spices curry was a hit! The laksa continues to be a table pleaser! Prices are reasonable. The friendly staff are most attentive. Can't go... More

Walking in from the street without a booking on a busy Sunday night we were pleased to be offered our choice of tables for 2. Although there was no background music there was a lively buzz of happy conversation & utensil clinking by us & fellow diners. Wait staff were pleasant, efficient and attentive, I never saw the bottom of... More

Was a good meal, and large especially for the price. The place was BYO which made it a nice relaxing places to have a few cheap drinks along with our dinner.
