We needed a coffee after strolling around St Kilda and came across this place. Nothing amazing to look at from the outside but i was extremely happy with the service and my coffee and muffin. The waitress was a gorgeous Italian lass who was happy to engage with her patrons which is very refreshing. The chai was traditional and that... More

Another great regular local St Kilda venue. Great food, good value and nice atmosphere for lazy lunch or dinner. Something for everyone on the menu. Always have a good time here.

had dinner on a wednesday night, only one other table in the place but as I'd eaten here before & knew how good it was, that didn't phase me. Ordered 4 dishes- mussels (which came with dipping bread) was a huge serving, bugs-4 bugs, beetroot/fetta salad- larger size, lamb meatballs- 4 large balls in sauce. All food was delicious &... My friend and I swung by here on a stroll to St Kilda. It fit the bill for an early lunch (11am) which is more of a brunch as they serve breakfast all day but don't start lunch til 1pm. Seems to be a Melbourne thing. In any case I ordered the BLT and my friend had eggs with tomato... More

We went for dinner here for the first time in 18 months. Glad we did, they still serve up a great variety of tapas plates that are presented beautiful and are tasty. Being a Friday night we expected it to be way busier so we found it surprisingly only half full. The service was friendly and efficient and the wine... More

An icon on Fitzroy Street, we've been eating and drinking here for years. Great tapas food, always a good wine list and lovely staff. Can't go past the home made Homus!

I love St Kilda and when I came here for breakfast I loved the choices we had for seating. Our hot drinks came super quickly and our breakfast was cooked the way I like it. Food, coffee, ambiance, and service were really good. Well worth the visit.

We had breakfast here two days in a row on our recent Melbourne trip. The service is faultless! Staff are friendly and we were made to feel like old friends on our 2nd visit. Everything on the menu sounded amazing so we shared 4 meals over the 2 days. The breakfast bruschetta was a stand-out, with pumpkin and nuts and... More

Our last coffee is always at Pelican as we can watch for the airport shuttle bus from within and shelter from the weather. Thanks Pelican for providing this haven. Great coffee, innovative breakfast.
