A Monday night meal on spec proved to be a fulfilling experience. The place was buzzing but we were able to get a table and had great service. Initially we thought the meals seemed pricy but the helpings were so generous that two entrees and one main were as much as we could manage and this turned out to be... More

This comfortable and simple restaurant delivers faultless Chinese cuisine in a most professional way. The service is helpful, knowledgeable and discreet. The winelist is more than adequate, and the ambience is pleasant. We accepted the waiter's suggestion of a series of dishes and as a result enjoyed an outstanding meal.

Easy to find/get to for those using public transport. This is a small restaurant, so booking is a must. Service was excellent, and the food was fresh and all our menu choices were enjoyed by all.

authentic Chines cuisine with a modern twist, that was simply excellent! We asked the waiter to surprise us with his own choice of small dishes, and we definitely enjoy each of them. Spring rolls, salty squids, wagyu beef...we left the table without any sweets: we were full and happy!

On arriving at the restaurant we were greeted politely and shown to our window seat, there is inside and outside seating, for not a large restaurant there were a lot of guests dining with plenty of space. Our friendly waiter gave us the choice of selecting from the menu or leaving the meal selection up to him..... who could refuse... More

Three of us went for a casual lunch during the week. The restaurant was only half full however this meant we had a great table. The food was up the excellent standard the last time I was here which is a couple of years ago. The service was first rate and the value was OK. We will not wait two... More

A group of 10 of us ate at Lau's Family Kitchen. We asked him to do shared plates for around $40 per head. We had a couple of starters and a couple of main courses. Whilst the food was delicious, each portion was very small (e.g. the coral trout portion was less than the size of the palm of my... More
