Had just arrived in St. Kilda and needed a bit to eat so we wandered around and picked Sapore based on the tripadvisor app on my smart phone. It did not disappoint. Sat outside and had a great lunch. Server was terrific. He had great recommendations for local beers, and what items on the menu we might like best. I... More

this was our second visit in a month and both times everything was great. A few week's ago we went for a family lunch (7 of us) and tried the express two course deal which is great value and inexpensive. The menu is limited for the express lunch, but there are still enough choices and everything we tried was enjoyed... More

We've visited Sapore a number of times and had a few functions there too. While there may be other less expensive or more edgy local eateries that have better child geared menus, we have had consistently good food and service here. On each visit we've noticed family gatherings and happy guests- always an encouraging sign. Our latest visit was for... More

We seldom return to the same restaurant as there are so many new ones to try. However as we were in St Kilda at lunch time we found ourselves walking past Sapore again and seeing lovely tables in the shade of a palm tree could not resist stopping for lunch and how glad we were that we did. We both... More

We have eaten at Sapore many times and will keep returning because of the consistently excellent food and service. The staff are a delight. The set price weekday lunch menu is great value, far better than similar deals elsewhere. Choose to go for lunch or early in the week for dinner as the tables are very close together.

We dined here as a group of four on one very wet Saturday night. Ambience is modern, relaxed and semi casual. Staff were a little too intrusive and came across as a tad fake. As for the food - enjoyed an entree of figs baked with proscuitto, but a pasta special of parmesan and ricotta ravioli was bland. Other mains... More

3 of us went in for a dinner. The restaurant was quite busy inside-I found the tables a little close together, but that is probably my only complaint! The food was delicious-2 of us had the special of the day entree of mozzarella and tomatoes with basil, and 1 had the calamari. These were all delicious, and washed down nicely with our... More

Great food and wonderful friendly service. Calamari especially recommended. Only downside, table a little small for 3! (But good job we all get on)!

Following a photographic morning in St Kilda we decided at the last minute to have lunch locally. After looking at a number of restaurants we picked Sapore even though there was no one there as I had dined here some years ago and thank goodness we did. Not wanting a big meal we looked at entrees and then asked if... More

The restaurant is situated near the St. Kilda beach and if the weather is good you can sit outside. Though it's not that conducive atmosphere to sit outside when there is heavy traffic and you will smell the exhaust pipes of the cars and the traffic light is just next to one of the tables. Make sure you are sitted... More
